They did fire him, it was hardly an endorsement of his views

They fired him so why the boycott?

I don't believe he is the CEO - very senior but not the CEO. Also, they suspended him immediately pending investigation and then rapidly fired him - so why the boycott?

EL is too pricey for me, but his sacking seems like a good outcome.

Good ! I don't use their stuff but their foundation is fab. (They still test on animals). Racists should not be tolerated.

Well I’ve just discovered my huge treat out of pension from now 0n I’m saving for their production only the face cream morning and night and the odd lipstick. But Charlotte Tilbury can supply that, prefer their colours very pale nude colour that sort of thing.

Oh jeez. Epic posting fail. Twice. Apologiese for such short and confusing post. So, of course it is right that he has been fired. Obviously. I saw his original actual post and it was awful, and (which I also failed to explain in my first post) in the context of other issues at EL (such as failing to address diversity in their product ranges) I went in all guns raging with 'boycott'.

Will you be boycotting the whole brand portfolio as well then? EL companies has a fairly extensive one...Jo Malone, Glamglow, MAC, Clinique etc

They were correct to dismiss him and did so though I doubt the billionaire owners overly give a stuff. Ronald Lauder went to college with Trump and called him "a man of incredible insight and intelligence". I dread to think how many hundreds of thousands of dollars have been pumped into supporting his political career, he often donated. His fellow Estee Lauder board members tried to remove him because of it and didn't succeed. All very fascinating.

These things are always worth looking into rather than just paying attention to social media virtue signalling. We vote with our money.
