Morning all!
@Sickoffamilydrama I really like your top - is it this year's Next? And @Shannith fabulous outfit! Like a Grecian goddess in modern times. I'm meeting my mother (91) and godmother (late eighties) for lunch today so demure in Jigsaw dress.

I've had a mini catch up.
@OublietteBravo I think I have those wide legged M&S jeans and wear them all the time.My 14 year old keeps stealing them though. They are around 2 sizes 2 big for her and look amazing on her in a 90s baggy ,hang off the hips way.Last seen being worn with a Nike sports bra Smile.
@EllaPaella gorgeous red dress.
@Shannith I love all your dresses and your races outfit. And that R&B bag is fab.
Waiting to see sandals and trainer inspiration.Have seen some New Balance I'm tempted by but need a trip to London to see what else is around.
As for Hush I agree that the jersey tops and knit wear quailty have often let me down.Have always done well with dresses and jeans though.

OublietteBravo · 16/04/2022 09:43

It’s finally warm enough to be out hand about without a coat or jumper in the morning.

Long sleeve top: M&S

Beautiful dress @Chrispackhamspoodle and gorgeous race outfit @Shannith. Lovely spring outfit @intwrferingma. Today my outfit has to cover, 4 hours in the car to and from dsil's house, not sure if she hosting us inside or outside, Easter egg hunt with the relatives, bit of spring colour as it is Easter! Top jigsaw, trousers monsoon.
While I was choosing an outfit I noticed that during lockdown, while lying in a drawer, a lot of my clothes have become bobbled and worn. Need to have a clear out.

@Sickoffamilydrama shorts? It's still cold here! Wtf

NeedWineNow · 17/04/2022 07:55

Lovely outfits all. So nice to see a bit of spring colour around ( even if its just my sunburnt arm!)

@Shannith. Oxted Everyman? That means you're not far from me! Would you be able to reveal the location of the £2 charity shop? I love a good charity shop rummage.

Sooverthemill · 17/04/2022 08:47

Well the sun is shining so that’s a start. The kids and their partners are coming today but thankfully DS has offered to cook the roast lamb etc as I’m still not really well. He’s cooking it at home and bringing it ready to serve. Advantage of a professional!

@NeedWineNow yes - and the best charity shop in the world - where half my wardrobe comes from is in Oxted. Hospices on the Weald , it's right at the end at the bottom. All clothes are £2!!! I've round loads of Boden/phase eight/Reiss/jigsaw/designer stuff. Got 2 3/4 lent but jigsaw and massimo dutti coats for £2 each last week!

The Salvation Army next to it has a great designer rail and st Catherine's hospice price everything but item not brand - so bargains to be found (that's where my £300/£3 and Barbarossa is the same. Cancer research and Sue Ryder are massively overpriced. O fan often has good stuff at reasonable prices.

But go to Hospice on the Weald - it's big and all shoes are £3/4 and their curtains bit good too. I've got floor length beautiful curtains for £3.

It's the best charity shop ever.

Shannith · 17/04/2022 10:25

All the bags are £2/3 as well. You have to look and have a bit of a slow rummage but I've got 2 lovely Russel and Bromley bags for £3 each. Good for dresses too. Good for everything!

OublietteBravo · 17/04/2022 11:46

Love your party outfit @Shannith.

I hope you have a lovely day @Sooverthemill. How lovely to have someone do the cooking for you!

It’s sunny again. Although I’m still not entirely convinced that it’s warm enough for bare ankles.
