Can YOU smell Molecule 01?

Not everyone can smell it. Can YOU smell it? What do you think of it?

I have heard about this perfume but haven’t tried it yet - want to know if it’s worth buying

I can’t smell it when i’m wearing it, but very occasionally will get a hint of it when putting on an item of clothing that has been sprayed on a previous wear. I do get asked what perfume I use / get compliments on it, so other people seem to be able to smell it!

No it’s totally odourless on me.

I have it and think it’s totally emperors new clothes…but my DH does seem to fancy me more when I give it a spritz on top of my usual perfume so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love it. It’s one of my favourites. My husband can’t smell it though.

I love it, the smell dissappears when I wear it but I can smell it on other people too

I’d be gutted if I bought it and couldn’t smell it, worse if others couldn’t!! 😂

I’m really intrigued by this: if you can’t smell it, do you get any ‘hint’ of it? The descriptions talk about an ‘aura’ but is this emperors new clothes? Or something worth trying?

I bought it off the back of a mumsnet thread. No discernible smell at all, even when tested on others.

I like it, but not as much as other scents, and not enough to buy more than the occasional decant.

Is this the one that is supposed to "smell different on everyone"?

Every time I walk past someone wearing it it smells the same to me 😅

I wear it everyday and every so often I get a delicious waft!
I get a lot of comments on it, so others can obviously smell it. I bloody love it

I too bought it because of the rave reviews, I tried the discovery set first - 10 mini scents from 01 - 05 . Loved them , got lots of comments . Have recently purchased the travel size bottle , not one comment since , can't even smell it on myself .

Yes, I can smell it. It’s not a strong smell, more a faint but definitely present woody, dry, sweetish smell.

I’m not a fan of ISO E Super. I certainly wouldn’t pay for a full bottle.

I love it and whilst I can't smell it constantly on myself, I get wafts throughout the day.
I don't know anyone else who wears it and have never noticed it on anyone else.
My DP can smell it - but thinks I have nicer fragrances. I don't care- I wear it for me.
I've never had a compliment when wearing it - unlike when wearing my other fragrances.
I love it as it makes me feel somehow decadent and it feels comforting and luxurious.
I once heard it described as like pencil shavings and weirdly I agree.

I wear it (a cheaper copy from Ebay). I can't often smell it on myself, though I sometimes get a small whiff, which is a tragedy because I LOVE the smell! I do often get a lot of compliments.. I think 6 in one day was the most.. Other days no one notices it.. Not sure what the difference is?!

Isn’t part of the point that you can’t really smell it because it reacts to you

I can smell it but don't really like it. It smells a bit medicinal or like a cleaning product to me.

I went to the perfume exhibition at Somerset House a couple of years ago, and it was one of their "gamechangers".
Iirc DD could smell it, but not me.

I love 04, dislike the rest of them on me.

I can't remember which one I had. It was a gift, I wore it but it wasn't something I'd normally wear. It smelt a bit like ck one to me and didn't last as all!

I can only smell it if it’s on a scarf or something I’ve worn. I get a lot of compliments about it on me. A couple of unrelated people at work tell me they can tell if I’ve been in a room. I share an office with two others, one loves it the other can’t smell it at all.

I can smell it on and off, would describe it as a light greenish scent, faint cedar. I also smell a lot of musks that people are anosmic to - I presume that it's the same anosmia phenomenon occuring when people say they can't smell it, rather than it being dependent on the wearer.

I can! It’s woody and masculine on me. David Furnish did a small piece on it in the Sunday Time Style recently (it’s his favourite scent) and he said Tom Ford asked what scent he had on when he was wearing it on a flight. No one’s ever complimented me on it!
