Muffin top - which option is least bad??

So I tried some jeggings on , looked lovely in the sampler size but under my jumper there was a lot of flab; size up looked weirdly loose and unflattering (created little pouches) but didn’t have the same flab issue. What do people do?

I gave up in a slight huff (and decided that I didn't like jeggings anyway 😁). Seriously though, I'd keep looking - no point in wearing uncomfortable/badly fitting clothes.

I feel your pain!! I have those that look ok on legs (from mid thigh down)and cover up rest with tunic style long flowing tops! I have a big stomach but tiny bum and hips!

Find some that are high waisted?

I have this too! I prefer the smaller size tbh but always conscious do need to Cover up in a voluminous top.

This is what jeggings do is it not? I'm a size 10/12 with standard hourglass figure and little fat on belly, and jeggings still give me a muffin top. The muffin top starts high up, then migrates downwards over the next ten minutes as the jeggings slither inexorably towards the centre of the earth.
I've tried maybe twenty pairs, all the same. Leggings fine, jeggings bad.

I love the pictures, especially how you took the time to draw a buttoned top in the first but couldn't be arsed for the second

So glad my A Level in Art wasn’t wasted 30 odd years ago! Like the German for I need to find a swimming pool which I am still hoping to use.
Hmm so maybe jeggings are meant to be higher up? I liked the look of them until I lifted my jumper up I’m trying to bridge the gap between joggers and jeans at the moment, easing myself back into active life 😂

Like others have said, neither! The first will be uncomfortable and the baggy pair will annoy you and tbh, look weird. Life’s too short to buy bad jeggings.

I'm a woman with no ass no hips and shortish legs. I like jeggings but I always make sure my top isn't fitted and hides the midriff, crotch and noass. I wear them up to the waist.

Get high waist (belly button height) jeans with 99% cotton 1% elastin, in a size that is quite tight, the waist will give after a while and the legs will still be nice and tight.

There's a lot of love for M&S jeans on here. I think you'll find a decent pair there.

H&M do super skinny high waisted jeans that I swear by, I look about 6 mo pregnant with have small good hips/bum/legs and these are high egg to tuck my stomach into but tight enough elsewhere.

The only ones I've found, I have 5 pairs of them. And they're cheap

I have parsnip shaped legs and a thick middle. I only wear longer tops with my M&S jeggings. Lots of tops and sweatshirts around right now are just too short for me to wear with jeggings and I’m only 5 foot 1.

Forget about the jeggings and concentrate on selling your fab sketches with funny comments (birthday cards?).
Then with all the lovely loot you earn you can have some tailor made trousers that fit you perfectly.
