Need help with a bag to go with outfit for son's wedding.....

Trying again after massive fail with first post!

I am wearing an emerald green jumpsuit (!!) and nude (sort of pinky taupe really) boots to my son's wedding in two weeks. I need accessories! Starting with a bag. I like the one below but I don't think it's quite the right colour? Does that matter, am I overthinking? I don't want something too small, or too big. I don't really like too small bags (eg a clutch), they feel too twee for me, and you can't fit anything in them. And obviously don't want to look like I am going out shopping! Happy to spend £100-150 if needed. Suggestions gratefully recd!

I actually wonder if it's better to get a bag that matches the boots rather than a completely different colour... the boots are quite soft in colour and I think with a jewel toned jumpsuit and a different jewel toned bag, it might end up looking a bit much, and like the boots were an afterthought, iyswim? I think the boots would go better with the jumpsuit if you made them look more of a 'deliberate' choice, iyswim?

@Wedding1234 it's probably impossible to tell until they arrived.... can look quite different colour online to reality!

Will go look for some more and you can see which you like the look of!

Yes it's frustrating trying to match colour online it's never quite the same as it is irl.

Am wondering if they might not be too much if teamed with a less sparkly silver bag as you would only see the toe peeking out.

Am tempted to buy and try them but still need the nude bag in case the sparkly ones don't work or are uncomfortable. So please still give me your nude bag suggestions!!

If I get the sparkly shoes (and they fit ok yada yada) then maybe the nice bag suggested by @PartyDilemma6 (although not sure if it's a bit too plain?) or one of these bags?

Wouldn’t rule out gold bag completely - I too don’t suit gold jewelry or clothes, but bags aren’t worn near the face so can work fine, especially for a ‘going out’ bag.

I think the boots are the wrong colour The jumpsuit is so lovely that any boots would be fine, except for that colour ,which is too soft. A stronger pink would work, or tans/ oranges, teals, or black. I think pale gold could be lovely. It’s daytime but it’s your boys wedding!. Fo the coat, I would go fake fur and fabulous ! There are some great coats still in sales. Checkout Anthropologie and Debenhams. I hope you have a great day
I love faux fur and would be well up for that but whenever I've tried on faux fur coats (when slim or big) they just make me look enormous :( Think it might be my pear shape and faux fur makes you bigger up top so I end up looking huge all over.....is there any faux fur that works for a pear shape?

I have noticed that a lot of shops are pairing a strong green with a pale cream , which your boots aren’t a million miles from, so maybe you are right on that colour..

Thank you but I can’t wear that colour. Can’t do orange or brown. And it looks like an orangey brown….

Yes thank you. They’ve boots definitely go. The pics aren’t quite the right colour but I’ve put them next to each other and they work.

I really really like the jumpsuit, it's lovely and a gorgeous colour. Personally I'd pair it with cerise pink but if you prefer something more nude, I love the Anthropologie sandals someone posted.

I have this wee bag, it doesn't hold much but it's weirdly versatile and goes with all sorts, it might work for you.

I hear you re comfort and also that you can't tell until you see IRL

I love the Anthropologie sandals and bag and the Zara bag particularly - it's a wedding - you can't be too glam - it's not like you are wearing the orange frock SJP wore in final episode of And Just like That - that bag he over the top for a small daytime wedding

Hope you have an amazing day - bag needs to fit phone, make up for you hrs and brush/comb and a credit card and tissues - dies the venue have a cloakroom ? If so you could go for bots and shoes for different parts of the event

The ASOSone is organic cotton, most fake fur is static all the way. My daughter is getting married in 2 weeks also. Your clothes are really good. Think mine may be too colourful,
