Spring perfumes - what are you fancying this year?

I know it's still Winter, but I'm getting a bit bored of my smoky, leathery perfumes and looking forward to something a bit lighter and fresher over the next few months. What Spring scents do you enjoy? Share old classic favourites or new releases that you fancy trying

I've got a sample of Molecule 01 Iris, which is nice and fresh/floral
And Prada Infusions Rose which I'd never tried before but am addicted to, keep smelling my wrist!

Just spent some fruitless time in the H Beauty shop browsing perfume. For spring I want to smell like a bunch of hyacinths wet from the rain but couldn't find what I was after. It doesn't help that some of the shop staff hover impatiently, when choosing a scent is not to be rushed.

For Summer perfumes, New Look have lovely ones. I also like ghost.

Hyacinths wet from the rain, you say? Gucci Envy smells a lot like this to me. The bad news, it's discontinued. The good news, Eden perfumes have a decent dupe. I was wearing it today, it's nice. Fresh and hyacinthy, with some lily of the valley too.
MissBattleaxe · 05/02/2022 23:59

I second what @DramaAlpaca says. The Eden dupe of Envy is great,

My favourite spring scents are all Jo Malone

Wild Bluebelle
Earl grey and cucumber
Nectarine blossom and honey
Poppy and barley

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess - I wear it more in summer but it sneaks out on those warm & sunny spring days

Flowerbomb, only need one spray, I feel I can wear it any season tbh.

An oldie but one I used to wear years ago & recently bought again (after reminiscing on another thread on here!) Burberry Weekend. It just reminds me so much of Spring.

Maybe TF Neroli Portofino.

Groovytiger · 06/02/2022 00:24

I follow the lovely Alice Du Parcq on Instagram for some inspiration. I have just bought Chloe Naturelle and absolutely love it. So fresh and ready have received quite a few compliments. I always find great perfumes on EBay - unwanted gifts etc

RainbowCrayons · 06/02/2022 03:37

I really want to find some new perfumes for this spring and summer. I think I like anything grassy and wet with maybe some citrus added in. I will have to start making a list of ones I want to try.

Gladioli23 · 06/02/2022 05:58

Another Fragonard fan here, I love their Fleur d'Orange one.

cherrysthename · 06/02/2022 14:54

Miu Miu l'eau Bleue is my fave spring time scent I really look forward to using it again. It smells like the cleanest clean thing I can think of but isn't a wintery scent

Guy Laroche Fidji 4160 Tuesdays Meet me on the corner Le Jardin Retrouve Verveine d'ete LUSH Pansy Avon Eve Truth
Oh my! Fidji. I haven't see that in ages. Reminds me of my youth.
Form1ess · 06/02/2022 20:43

DramaAlpaca thank you! The Eden version sounds perfect Smile

Teadrinker11 · 06/02/2022 21:51

I like a lot of Jo Malone for the Spring. Orange Blossom, Basil and Neroli or English Pear and Freesia are all lovely and fresh and light. Not too heavy and so refreshing. Wood Sage and Sea Salt also smells so reviving. Replica also has a few which I'd like to own someday - Flower Market or Springtime in a Park, very true to their names.

MissBattleaxe · 10/02/2022 11:40

I like how Jo Malone fragrances smell, but I want them to last longer for that kind of money.

Totally agree with this. I think the longest lasting perfume I have is La Vie Est Belle which is very gorgeous but maybe not a Spring smell!
RainbowCrayons · 14/02/2022 02:13

After all my research I bought a bottle of Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca. I went to sniff some of the new ones but nothing matched the herba Fresca. It's the most wonderful smell of a rainy garden in a bottle and I think it will be my new signature scent. It also doesn't give me a migraine which a lot of perfumes do (cinnamon, amber and vanilla being the worst culprits for me)

MissBattleaxe · 14/02/2022 21:02

@RainbowCrayons That's a great choice, so fresh and dewy!
