As per the title really, love a good cleansing balm so wondered which ones you really rate and recommend.
Have so far tried:
Elemis - lovely but a bit spendy. (Not against spendy recommendations btw)
Body shop chamomile- liked this a lot
Emma Hardie Moringa - meh, it was okay but I don't think it's worth the price point
Clinique - used to like this but I SWEAR they've changed the formula.

Intrigued by the M&S pure rose one but not tried it as yet.

Grateful for any recommendations or HG products!

My absolute favourite is M&S Pure Hot Cloth Cleanser:

Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt. John Lewis stock it and you can order from Evolve and they send samples. Really effective including removing mascara and great for sensitive skin.
The £3 Primark balm is a close second.

I forgot to pack my cleanser when I was going away this weekend , so I popped
Into Superdrug and picked up the ‘B by Superdrug Melting Cleansing Balm.’ Genuinely just as good as balms four times the price. I will keep using.

icelollycraving · 06/02/2022 19:04

I know it’s been mentioned but my favourites are Elemis, the rose and the water mint.

Imkindreally · 06/02/2022 19:07

Upcircle cleansing balm is lovely! I have super sensitive skin but seem fine with this one

Mazzy13a · 06/02/2022 19:34

I want to know the same so I googled what Caroline Hirons thinks and her no1 is pixie double cleanse, I'm at near the end of my giant tub of elemis it's lasted for nearly 2 years,I was looking at Balance me one today and an Olay one but google wouldn't work in the shop , I like to read reviews. Clarins do one too it's called melting gel, I've heard good reviews and about the inky list but not sure it's a balm

Bignanny30 · 06/02/2022 23:10

Tried most of them, from cheap to ridiculously expensive and always come back to Elemis. Don’t even try the others any more because I know that They won’t be as good as Elemis so why bother.

Then I Met You is my absolute favourite. It smells amazing.

Eve Lom

Branster · 07/02/2022 21:33

Nothing comes close to Eve Lom for me. The way it smells is not for everyone and it has changed since 20 years ago but it is still the best in my experience. However, a bit of a commitment with the massage.

Your Good Skin is not as well known as it deserves to be, I'd recommend it as a more purse friendly and very decent alternative.

mowglika · 07/02/2022 22:07

My favourite is Emma Hardie but I picked up the Aldi dupe last week and it’s even better, smoother but smells and feels the same. Leaves my skin feeling supple but not greasy

Also love elemis not the balm but the pro radiance cleansing cream in the pump tube. And balance me balm is pretty good too, I’m using this and Emma Hardie/Aldi dupe atm

For the best price point try the balance me cleanse and smooth cleansing balm I really notice that my skin improves when I use this

dysongirl · 10/02/2022 12:26

Used to use Boot's liz earle forever.
Until I decided to try Superdrugs hot cloth cleanser Smile
More or less the same idea for less money 💰

@bloodynamechangethe3rd

Thanks for the Juno recommendation - ordered it and love it!

Fispi · 14/02/2022 18:53

Ooo I forgot about Ponds cold cream...I liked that one and haven't seen it for years. Soap and Glory do a nice balm. It melts my make up off and doesn't sting around the eyes. Oskia renaissance cleansing balm is my all time favourite.

FreeButtonBee · 14/02/2022 21:09

Heimish all clean is my favourite. I found the M&S rose one too perfumed.
It’s gentle and turns into a nice milk when it emulsifies and rinses rather clean but leave skin soft.

IlonaRN · 16/02/2022 11:55

I really like the one that Angela Langford does:
Clean Sweep
