Are these glasses nice or hideous?

Thinking of taking the plunge and upgrading my current, boring glasses to something more interesting. I have found a pair I really like, but are they a bit too much?

Context: early 30s, I work in the creative industry, blond bob haircut, good bone structure.

Why do you all think? Am I crazy for considering these glasses? Are they cool or hideous?

I really like them and can imagine they'll work well given how you've described yourself.

They do, however, remind me of my dads glasses in the 1980s... but the above still applies!

It's hard to say without seeing them on you. If you have quite an "edgy" style you'd probably get away with them.

I like them and, more importantly, so do you. If you've had your old frames a long time then any new shape is going to look weird at first.

They are actually 1970's vintage. I had a pair. I have 2 pairs now, one tinted . They are v flattering .

I kind of hate them but can see how they might look ok on some people.

If you feel confident in them that's your answer. I stick to classic shapes/styles but I'm not that adventurous.

I love them. They wouldn't suit me (never found a pair of aviators that did) but I wish they would.

I like them but I feel the middle may make your eyebrows look like a unibrow if you know what I mean? Lol. Depends on your face though obviously so would need to try on.

My sister wears them, she’s “edgy”z I just think they look my dads glasses when we were kids in the 80s.

I ordered a very similar pair from Chanel a couple of years ago and they were fab, but sadly I looked such a twat in them I returned them. I think it's down to face shape more than anything else.

My Dad had them in the 80s. You can do a virtual try on with most opticians online, that should help.

I couldn't wear them for the same reasons, they remind me of Frank Butcher.

I like them, and I remember the Eighties as an adult. But as a PP said, do you like them on yourself? That's the clincher.

Really though you have to try them on and see. They could look great on you.
