I’m happy to pay £££

I like fresh citrusy smells as well as musky woody smells.

I don’t want something overpowering but I want something that will last a bit.

Not hugely keen on jo malone Lbm / PN as I’ve found they don’t last so long.

Detest Chanel no 5 as it smells old fashioned and talcy on me. Ditto Avon soft musk which I’ve just bought on the back of a thread here recently.

DH really likes me wearing Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker but it’s cheap as chips and i fancy a change.

What would you suggest ?

It’s not new or trendy, but Cool Water Woman is lovely and meets the fresh and citrusy brief.

I've been wearing this for almost a year and I love it.

Citrus fan? Do go and sniff Creed's Aventus for Women - it's utterly sensational. Spendy but worth every penny.

O de lancome is absolutely gorgeous

Sorry, didn't mean to advertise 😳

Love this one. I don't usually like citrusy scents but this is different, fresh and warm and sophisticated at the same time!

GettingStuffed · 13/01/2022 13:21

I love this, it last on me for ages www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Commodity/Paper-70020.html

Naples, which is made by a small indie perfume house, Gallivant. It's fresh and crisp, but dries down to a slightly woody note. And it lasts well, for a citrus scent.

Kayali fragrances are beautiful x

Malibuismysecrethome · 13/01/2022 19:20

Another Molecule 01 fan here although I layer it with my perfume that I wear. Have been chased and asked what I was wearing!

Branleuse · 13/01/2022 19:25

Jo malone orange blossom is beautiful, but for a really underrated citrussy but slightly woody, try Calvin klein in2u . Its always discounted but its a well kept secret i think as its such a good one.

Aromatic Elixir by Clinique. Old fashioned but long lasting. Have used it for years. Always complimented on how lovely I smell and it lifts my mood when I spray it.

LeQuern · 13/01/2022 19:32

Infinite Sky - one of the new Estée Lauder collection. Woody, citrus and aromatic pepper. It’s unusual and long lasting but doesn’t overpower the room.

I hate most High Street scents such as the Jimmy Choos, Paco Rabannes or Victor and Rolfs of this world. Too sweet, strong and generic. Infinite Sky is distinct and grown up.

Winecheesesleep · 13/01/2022 22:04

I like Maison Lancome Figues and Agrumes, it's citrussy and figgy too.

Arran aromatics - after the rain

Quercus by penhaligons.

Both fairly unisex too. Love them!
