What treatments has she had? (Pics)

I'm about to post two photos of an actress - Lucy Jo Hudson. She is one of many who I suspect have had similar 'work' done so not singling her out for any particular reason, I just saw her on a TV clip and found these pics for good comparison.

My question is, aside from obvious weight loss, what takes the face shape from round and almost featureless to pixie shape? I like the look and wondering what areas are treatments are used I.e. fillers, relaxants etc.

Featureless? What are you on about? Grin I think she's lost a bit of weight and the up-do makes her face look longer.

Youngstreet · 11/01/2022 11:50

You can't compare a straight face with little make up to a full smile and extra glam make up.
And a round face changes for many reasons, gojng from teens to twenties, having dc and weight loss.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 11/01/2022 11:50

I think it's 90% weightloss. The rest is simply more 'updated' makeup such as eyebrows and of course the hair. She's maybe had botox or a peel or something but it doesn't look like she's had any surgery. I know my cheekbones are hiding under a layer or two of fat this past year.

SirVixofVixHall · 11/01/2022 11:52

I think she is a bit thinner and a bit older. Lots of women have a rounder more baby face that gets more cheekboney in late twenties on. I did.

BlusteringBoobies · 11/01/2022 11:53

I can't see much of a difference other than smiling, better makeup and hair

I sort of think this is a bit in poor taste too. Posting photos of a celeb (not even one that necessarily courts attention) and 'guess the work done'

Youngstreet · 11/01/2022 11:54

@BlusteringBoobies agree.

Dumblebum · 11/01/2022 11:55

She’s just older and slimmer, plus made up in one and not the other. She certainly wasn’t featureless in the younger photo.

Ancientdreams · 11/01/2022 11:59

Yep, older, slimmer and glammed up. I can’t see a nose job or lip fillers or anything else noticeable although she has probably had veneers on her teeth as they are perfect.

furbabymama87 · 11/01/2022 12:00

Her nose looks different, so maybe that.

Marchingredsoldiers · 11/01/2022 12:00

I get where you coming from OP. I wondered the same about peaches geldof. Her face was round when younger but her chin and jawline became much more defined as she got older. I've never noticed this change in real life!

furbabymama87 · 11/01/2022 12:02

Or maybe not, it's amazing what make up can do and contouring can change the shape .

Innvinoveritas · 11/01/2022 12:03

Peaches Geldof, didn't she die after taking an overdose of heroin?

Marchingredsoldiers · 11/01/2022 12:08

I have just found out that she'd married and divorced tyrone!

ittakes2 · 11/01/2022 12:12

I think she has just had her nose done.

ShinyHappyPoster · 11/01/2022 12:14

It's weighloss and make-up. I have a round face when I'm overweight. When I'm a size 8, you can see my cheekbones and my chin.
I don't think this thread is in the spirit of MN. I wish posters would stop trying to make MN the site for all the bitter, bitchy celeb gossip. Tattle is right there - go use it as it's cynical, jaded-hearted owners intended.

TabithaTittlemouse · 11/01/2022 12:17

I think she looks lovely in both. In the second photo she is glammed up.

jamandmarmaladethesecondcoming · 11/01/2022 12:18

nose

SummaLuvin · 11/01/2022 12:22

You can change the shape/increase definition of cheeks, jaw, and chin with fillers - you can also have implants in these areas for a more permanent solution.

A popular surgery with celebrities is buccal fat removal, it gives a more chiselled look. However, this can be a tricky procedure to get right, fat in faces begins to breakdown and is lost naturally from late 20's onward, so can be very ageing as further fat is lost naturally giving a gaunt appearance.

I can't say what she has had done - no qualifications, pictures are bad for comparison... but I notice how incredibly smooth her forehead is, the other changes could be down to her losing baby fat or some of what I mentioned above, or both.

sqirrelfriends · 11/01/2022 12:28

She has botox brows otherwise nothing I can see.

While I understand where this poster is coming from, I disagree. The OP wants to understand how Lucy Jo transformed from A to B, there isn't anything inherently wrong with cosmetic procedures, so I don't agree this is 'bitchy'. I actually think an understanding of the cosmetic enhancements used by celebrities by the bucket load is really important for 'normal' women. While we are sitting here thinking - what did I do wrong, why doesn't my skin look so smooth, how did she get those cheekbones... - celebrities pay £000's to look the way they do, so of course we don't look as fresh/chiselled/perfected with our budgets. And the celebrities (for the most part) are happy to imply it's all diet/exercise/makeup/genetics and so on, all of which adds into the feeling of inferiority, when secretly it's paid for enhancements.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/01/2022 12:33

Lots of Botox.

CharlotteRose90 · 11/01/2022 12:33

She was in a magazine years ago saying she has Botox and got her teeth done. Other then weight loss I don’t think she’s had anything else done .

IvorCutler · 11/01/2022 12:36

She was a child in the first picture…

ZealAndArdour · 11/01/2022 12:39

Age, loss of volume in the face, possible masseter reduction.
