So today has been a shit day loads of things going wrong at work DS still can't go back to school so I'm dressed accordingly, oh and to top it all off I bought 2 pairs of trousers from Cos and I can't do them up so for the clothes shop that is known to be oversized I'm to fat 🙄

@Sickoffamilydrama too soon! I’ve returned the jigsaw jeans in both sizes and am going to reorder my usual size later on to see if a different pair fits. The 28 could be pulled off me done up and the 26 made me look like a sausage

Hi everyone, thanks for all the comments and lovely to see some new people joining. For those of you who like Grace and Mila, it’s a really pretty brand - I guess a cheaper Sezanne though I don’t think the quality is brilliant. It’s grand but I don’t know if it’s things I’ll still be wearing in ten years time - my outfit today is almost that old.

@Justonedayatatime11 I would love some new jeans that aren’t skinnies too. I ordered some girlfriend ones from Boden that arrived on Thursday. They look terrible on me. Someone else had mentioned the C_section pooch and that made me laugh as I have one too. I’m now thinking that I need a denim with a very small amount of stretch in it but still firm that sucks everything in and keeps it in place! (My mint velvet Maryland skinnies are good for that) The Boden girlfriend jeans were more a traditional denim that just looked awful around my tummy and I know would sag there after a few washes.

@Sickoffamilydrama the top was really lovely on you but I think after a few washes it would be even shorter. The style really suits you though, I’m sure there is a slightly longer one out there for you. Don’t despair about the COS trousers, sizing has gone to pot these days there is no consistency even within one brand.

I am up and out of bed! Decided to get dressed as not sure I can bear another day in PJ's. Wearing new balloon jeans (M&S) and Toast jumper with a sparkly thermal M&S top underneath as it' freezing. Typical that its sunshine and blue skies when I am stuck indoors.

@EllaPaella those jeans are lovely on you, do you mind me asking what height you are? They are a lovely length on you. Are they regular length? I’m 5ft 3 and often find petite jeans are too short for me and then regular are too long.
