Just popped out and wore it with this.

I am! You have to give me a steer on what you like and sizes. Pm me. I've got 2 amazing shop - one with a £1 rail of randomness and one where all clothes are £2. The coat section is awesome. But great for pretty much everything. Plus I'm good at hunting out things in the shops were they price all clothes the same regardless of brand.

Give me 5 or 6 ideas and I'll get them and you can decide.

@Shannith You could make this into a business! I would love to shop in charity shops more but our local ones are abysmal. I do get nice kids books from there for £1 though. Loads of S&B seem to find amazing stuff from them - I think I just live in a very rough area.

@Sickoffamilydrama Love that colour. I think I eyed up the same jumper on Me + Em. Was it on sale?

Yes it's was @Pigtailsandall not sure it's worth the £65 price tag but £25 in happy with that's some down to £18

@Pigtailsandall I'm very lucky with where I live - as in between the normal stuff there are plenty of decent bits. Some shops prove accordingly and some don't. I frequent the ones that don't

It feels very mild here today. Huge achievement here at sooverthemill house: after 6 years the hall mirror has been hung by the builder! New and better position for selfies!

Some pics from the last couple of days. The navy cords don’t photograph well but they are lovely and velvety and so warm too. I think they are meant to be a crop trousers but on me they are more full length. Ordered some girlfriend jeans that are due to arrive today so looking forward to getting home later to try them on.

In my bed-bound boredom I ordered a pair of the M&S balloon jeans and my lovely husband has just been to collect them. I'm pleased to say they are lovely- I'll post a pic later if I can find the energy to put them on and be half presentable.

@bendmeoverbackwards thanks, I just saw your message - the belt is from a brand called SunCoo, I get loads of wear from it.

So I am trying to be good this month. I’m keeping notes of all of the things that catch my eye and that I would like but am not ordering them with a view to saving money. I was so good last year and old habits have slipped back in.

My list so far (dress and cardi were old wants)

I've not posted in ages.Work is nuts and I keep forgetting to take photos.I have lots of new clothes as a neighbour gave away a bag of size 10 stuff which I snapped up...got 2 beautiful jumpsuits from Hush and Coast,a Zara shirt, some great dresses for work and a couple of short skirts from Oasis.THEN a Stitch Fix arrived.I used them during the 1st summer lockdown and wasn't blown away so kept putting it off forgetting to cancel it.Kept a really comfortable ,well fitting jersey jumpsuit I'll wear loads when it warms up and a jumper.Now I must end my account with them as I much prefer buying for myself.Did a quick scroll back.That hedgehog!The Kooples jacket!Will start checking in daily again.Lovely to see all the Me&Em clothes.

Here is a pic of the M&S ballon jeans, excuse the hair, I've been in bed the last three days.
M&S have really come up trumps for me with jeans lately. I find Topshop and H&M jeans are cut for people with flat washboard stomachs, somehow M&S and Levi's high waist are a lot more flattering on those of us with the C section pouch. Maybe it's the quality of the slightly stiffer denim on the high waisted styles. Anyway, these will be great with my converse high-tops and also summer sandals.

@EllaPaella I love those jeans. M&S are a really flattering cut on me too and I really like the styles they have.My wide legged jeans from there are prefect. Hope you are feeling OK.

@EllaPaella I love the jeans. Can I ask if they’re true to size? I ordered a pair of sienna from m&s this week and they’re too big, despite some reviews saying they run small! I was happy to have a bit of room but they’re not flattering at all (too long also, I’m 5’8”!).

@IvorCutler yes I would say true to size, the waist is on the smaller size of their usually quite generous sizing in other styles so I would say your usual size should be okay for these.

@Sooverthemill - that Eribe cardigan must be doing reasonably well on the pay per wear scale. (6 years is nothing - we’ve got a mirror that has been waiting to be hung since we moved in here in 2013).
