Forgot to post yesterday. Thanks @EllaPaella and @Sooverthemill. I was working in a more casual environment yesterday and why is the weather so mild for January? Jumper white stuff, cords fatface. Lovely gap top @Shannith. Great outfit @Purplecatshopaholic. I was teaching ftf yesterday and it was so much better than online. Love the new jeans @Sooverthemill.

@Greyhairwarmheart I also prefer f2f teaching ( I was a trainer for a National charity on a freelance basis for a while and did a mix of f2f and the predecessor of zoom ( webx does it exist still?) . Having said that, I did an online knitting class last sat and last night and loved it ( as a participant!).

Thank you for the compliments on the suit everyone! It got a lot of attention at work the other day, too. Someone said, “You look stylish today”, and my TA said, “She looks stylish everyday, don’t you?” And it wasn’t so much what she says but the fondness with which she said it… slayed me. She always makes me feel so loved and supported. 🥲

Can't remember the last time I wore anything other than trainers or boots... Hello all. Today I'm wearing Reiss jeans (skinny, dark denim, ancient) and a Sandwich top (blue with bird pattern). Sandwich coat over the top (black with green check) and a pair of Carvela boots (chunky, black with buckle). Reading that back it sounds minging but looks ok (I hope). Planning on wearing black denim skirt later.

Same here, our fence has just blown down. We lost an entire wall with storm Arwen so a bit fed up! We have a completely communal garden with next door now 🤭

Can any of you lovely people on the thread suggest an outfit to wear attend a wedding in early April? (My nephew).
(I'm 50, strawberry blonde, 5'9 and a size 10.)
It's going to be a city wedding, held in a hotel.
I'll be honest - I haven't a clue. My Hobbs dress and jacket combos were great a few years ago but with the new floaty silhouettes out there they seem a bit dated.
Any suggestions/ brands/ photos very gratefully received.
