What a gorgeous skirt @toastfiend! It reminds me of an All Saints one I had ca. 20 years ago. So many things from that time that I just THREW OUT 😢😠😳 and feel wistful about now.

I’m with you @Sooverthemill - MissSixty completely passed me by. I wonder why? It seems especially odd as I lived in London from 1998-2002, which seems to be the right era.

I’m back with a different user name - I actually took a break from Mumsnet (and a few other places) and I’ve had to re-register but unfortunately that means I can’t post photos for 28 days, I think it’s to deter trolls. Anyway hope to post photos when I can.

I've been working so no outfits from me. Uni day today though so I will post when I have actually got up and got dressed, whatever I wear will have thermals underneath as it's all face to face teaching and they have all the windows wide open all day 🥶🥶🥶

On bus to work. Wearing new Baukjen black ballet wrap top which is going to be really useful, with a Jugsaw camisole underneath. Hush tulip Lycra skirt in dark red, black opaques and Fly ankle boots which I will change when I get in for suede ankle boots with heels.

No work today and doing food shop/ housework so chucked on my avenged sevenfold tee and black jeggings. Will put on my fluffy leopard print jacket to go outside.

Going out for dinner tonight with girl friends so will wear my new pleather skirt, tights and some sort of black top or jumper.

New hand knitted jumper today that I finished seeing the ends in last night ( surprisingly few). This was a real stop start project! I think I like it but it’s unisex so I need to get used to the shoulder I think

I’m WFH today as I have meetings all day from 11:00-17:00. I might have to add another layer - it’s cold again.

I know wearing the same colours top/bottoms is a thing. But I still feel a bit odd doing it.

Annoying not being able to post photos!

Anyway, I’m going to go through my wardrobe, wear everything and decide what to keep / re-home. I have far too many clothes and some are just unsuitable for my lifestyle these days or I just don’t like them anymore. I like the concept of only having things I love. Would make getting dressed much easier.

Today I’m wearing a black DKNY pure merino wool dress with black tights.

I like the dress, it’s flattering, comfortable and can be dressed up or down. The ability to be dressed down is key as I WFH and have a 3 year old so opportunities for glamorous outfits are limited these days Decided to keep it

Thanks so much for the skirt love everyone! I'm waiting for any occasion to wear it now!

@EllaPaella thank you! It's the Hush Floriza. They have styled it with high top converse style trainers on the website and it looks great! I don't have any of them, might have to add them to my eBay stalking list... 😂

@EnoBaby I know that feeling so well! I put quite a lot of weight on at uni and had so many beautiful clothes that didn't fit me any more that I just chucked into clothes recycling bins. Don't know what I was thinking. I still mourn lots of them now, and they'd bloody fit me again! Really like your outfit yesterday.

I'm super casual today. Feeling tired and run down on the tail end of this bug/virus. DS was unsettled last night, my personal favourite was being woken at 3am by screaming and sobbing, which, after I shot out of bed thinking something terrible had happened, it transpired was because "mammoths are big" and he doesn't like them. 🤷‍♀️ Toddlers are a (mostly) delightful mystery. So, dressed for warmth and comfort as it's also freezing here.
