For those that asked about the Epsom Salt trick

I can't seem to find the thread but I've been tagged in it a few times.

It's very simple, if I'm feeling bloated or I just have a night out or whatever the next day, I buy those bags of Epsom salts from Boots or wherever and run a hot bath. Tip in half (if I'm feeling bloated I tip in the whole lot but I am hardcore like that) and just soak in the water for at least 20 minutes ideally 30. That's it.
The next day you will fit into whatever dress or outfit and just be generally depuffed. It's a trick all the Oscars or awards ceremony celebs use and yes of all it costs a couple of quid (cheaper on Amazon actually)
This is what I use:

I use Epsom salts in the bath for a few weeks during post partum - it’s something all the women in my family did and I found it to be really healing. Two midwifes had never heard of it before, but I moved to a a different country in the UK so maybe it’s a location thing.

@BoopTheFloof

I think it’s more than absorbing the magnesium in the Epsom salts helps your body with a lot of self regulation, including stress hormones and blood glucose.
Why not just take a magnesium pill then?

"I would suggest avoiding the trigger foods that cause bloating and/or taking a nutritional supplement or look into IBS if the bloating is accompanied by other digestive issues."

For some people, almost everything can trigger bloating and there is no quick cure for IBS.

I have fibro and take a magnesium supplement which helps but word of warning. Some types of magnesium supplements act as a laxative!!

I take them FOR that. Can't do an Epsom bath as I don't have a bath.
