What are your favourite fragrances?
I have some newly discovered ones -
Killian Don’t Be Shy - smells sweet - a gourmand fragrance
Tiffany Rose Gold -fruity floral
I bought a discovery set from MFK - Maison Frances Kirkdijhan- they do lovely perfumes but are expensive so a good way to try them out first.

Soooo many.
I'm a perfume-holic.
My current favourite wintery fragrances are:

For spritz, lift in summer:

I just found a new Winter fragrance - you know for that dead of winter? I thought nothing would replace By the Fireplace by Replica, but my goodness, Tom Ford Lost Cherry is breathtakingly outstanding.
I also love Floral Street Ylang Ylang Espresso for dead of Winter.
When the weather starts to change but before Spring, I go back to NR for Her EDT which is my number 1 all time favourite.

Then Spring, I struggle. Usually go to Chanel Chance but I would love a lush green fragrance for Spring. Never found one yet!
Summer is Light Blue Intense or Neroli Portofino.
Then Autumn, back to NR for her.

I also intersperse with Baccarat Rouge which I love but it doesn't really fit in with any particular season.

I have recently discovered sunnamusk, they do lovely exotic fragrances and oils

My favourites are floral/musky/fruity. I'm not into overly heavy ones like opium. I like:

• Channel Allure- Oriental, fruity and floral

• Versace pour femme- floral, fruity, woody

• Rose by Paul Smith (Rose with hints of violet and cedarwood)

• Versace women- fragapani, jasmine, lotus, amber and musk. Floral, fruity and woody

I love perfume and at one stage collected it, but have seen sense over the last couple of years re: my bank balance! I love all sorts of fragrances, but there are a few I particularly love and always come back to. I’m not bothered about labels or whether it’s niche, mainstream designer, celeb or cheapo. I just care about the smell.

Could you please tell which if the sunnamusk fragrances you like? I find the counter very overwhelming - sample cards thrust into my face and quite a high pressure sales ethos. But I know there is a fragrance there for me (just haven’t found it yet!).
I love NR for her so anything like that maybe with a vetivert slant?

Maison Francis Kurdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 (can’t afford it though and have tried all dupes unsuccessfully).

Tom Ford Tuscan Leather and Penhaligans Halfeti are the best things I've ever had in my nostrils, but they are so £££ that Ive never felt able to justify them.

I tend to wear the red Clarins, Clinique Happy or one from All Saints. Sometimes a Paul Smith men's one. I like the Tiffany men's & one too.

Currently in love with Serge Lutens - Des Clous pour une pelure which smells of clove studded oranges.

Also Dans tes Bras by Frederic Malle for the lovely warm cloud of violet and heliotrope

And Halfeti by Penhaligons - such a great scent for cold weather on me. It's too sticky in the heat.

The Perfume parlour Halfeti dupe is not bad at all, I have both and it's a very good copy.
