Longer/oversized hoodie.

I know exactly what I want but haven’t found anything perfect so I’d be grateful for some expert help please.

Needs to be less than £50 (or very near), proper sweatshirt fabric with a soft lining inside, a kangaroo pocket, cover my arse/reach mid thigh and have a proper cuffed hem.
I’ve looked in lots of high street places and sport shops (lots of baggy cropped styles which must only look good on much younger, thinner girls). I’ve looked at men’s which just get wider, not longer, and upsizing on basic women’s versions but I’m a size 16/18 and tall so buying a couple of sizes bigger isn’t really an option. There are lots of longline hoodies but without the cuffed hem and I want it to be fitted round the hem so not a dress.
I’m not so fussy about colour but I don’t like navy and nothing too pale, plainer is better but not a dealbreaker.
Seems ridiculous that I seem to be looking for a hoodie unicorn.

Hari and the gang hoodies are amazing, and I love the style of the neck

PJPatrol · 23/11/2021 18:51

I have this one. I wouldn't say it's quite mid thigh but it does cover my bum.

onitlikeacarbonnet · 23/11/2021 18:52

Thanks Funnyname00. That was so quick lol.
That’s the right shape but it only goes up to a 14 Sad and it’s missing the pocket.

Have a look at
neonmarl.co.uk/

There are some plainer ones, but the hoodies are amazing, great cowl hood, sleeves with thumb holes and lovely fabric. I love my grey rainbow one!

pastypirate · 23/11/2021 18:53

Following. I went out in leggings and a hoodie to walk the dog with my are on show and felt like a twat.

Baconsarnie · 23/11/2021 18:53

It's a bit over £50 but how about this?

Over budget but really good quality?

onitlikeacarbonnet · 23/11/2021 18:58

Thanks PJPatrol. Better price Wink but it’s not oversized enough Sad

Fat Face do a men's one, which is extra long. It also has the pocket you want. I have several of these.

Bit more than you wanted to pay and sometimes they reduce these in their sales. I got this one for £47.50 a month ago. You might have to wait a little while to get it at that price.

That's looks like it should be in a charity shop bargain bin for 50p!
£69?!

OP I have similar hoody requirements and am following with interest. Liking the Neon Marl site, I have bookmarked for later as DD would love one.

That's a good price. Never heard of the site, usually if I haven't heard of a shop it's well out of my price range!

onitlikeacarbonnet · 23/11/2021 19:10

BaconSarnie just a bit too much for my budget. But I like the washed look a lot.

Galaxy, thank you. Not sure I could pull off that much pink but the split hem means it’s not quite there. Sorry.

£85! For a hoodie!!
I’m sure it’s beautifully soft and gorgeous but can’t stretch to that. Thanks though PinkJelly Smile

Ragz, the Hush hoodie is actually fabulous, it ticks all the op's requirements. I have it and the photos don't do it justice, it's a bit pricey which is why I only have the one!

onitlikeacarbonnet · 23/11/2021 19:20

I’m sorry I’m so fussy. The JL one doesn’t have a pocket either though I love the leopard print.
I’m wary of the kit and kaboodle being one size, because I’m at the top end of the size range and def don’t want it to be tight. And I’m not keen on the colours.

At least I’m not feeling so bad that I couldn’t find what my bf said I should have found in the first shop I looked in.

I got a neon marl and while I quite like it, it's not as big as I expected it to be. I'm size 12 so bought medium. It's fine but not oversize.

onitlikeacarbonnet · 23/11/2021 19:22

So grateful for the suggestions. Thank you.
But I’m still unicorn hunting Grin

Rina66 · 23/11/2021 19:28

Oh @fruitpastille I'm a 14 and I bought my Neon Marl in the XL (a UK 20/22) to make sure it was oversized. There are dimensions under each product - I think maybe they come up true to size, so you have to go up a couple of sizes for an oversized look? I'd really like the navy star hoodie (can't decide on the star colour) now to wear with jeans or joggers and white trainers.
