@toastfiend that dress is fab but if you’re entirely comfortable in it will it put you off wearing it?

I am in leggings again - really need to invest in some smarter looking trousers but with the comfort of an elastic waistband!

I braved a houndstooth/Tweedy type jumpsuit today. My son calls it my detective suit. I'm not sure if I can carry it off really but I brazened it out. Worn with block heel Whistles boots.

@toastfiend that Cos dress is beautiful and you look amazing in it -it does not make you look broad in any way. I see what you mean about the lack of sides though.The low back is gorgeous but is almost a bit too bare at the sides.I think it would look great with something underneath but that's probably not what you want.Having said that you look beautiful in it.

I love that skirt @EllaPaella. I haven’t been to Sainsbury’s for ages - maybe I should pop in and have a browse. Although I’m actually trying to stop buying new clothes (even though I have about 7 items in my M&S basket, and I’m watching lots of things on eBay). I am at least being reasonably successful at only spending money I’ve made by selling things I no longer wear. I guess that’s a start!

What's everyone's face shops? I probably get most of my stuff from Zara, river island or ASOS!

This is my outfit today! I think I might swap my trainers for Doc Martens! I need a dark jacket so it looks less summery!

@ivfbabymomma1 I shop all over the place really. Recently I seem to have bought quite a lot from M&S who have surprisingly had some nice stuff in of late.
I used to buy a lot from Hush but have gone off them a bit over the last year or so, love their jeans but find that a lot of the stuff is overpriced and not great quality.
I would love to buy more from Sezane but it's very expensive.
I am literally coveting everything in Me & Em at the moment but it is eye wateringly expensive but oh my, some of the blouses and trousers are to die for.
I don't really have any 'go to' shops. I have a lovely little boutique locally which sells a lot of the Ichi label which I absolutely love as well.

Couple of outfits from me.

Yesterday - dress, mint velvet; belt, John Lewis. Went out for the day with DM for an exhibition and lunch, and a mooch round John Lewis  We had a lovely day.

Today - top, charity shop; jeans, M&S. I love this top, it's just a jersey top but so nicely made. Much better quality than most of what's available new now. Off out for a walk and maybe out for pizza after so will add black DMs and leather jacket.

Love that jumper @EllaPaella. I prefer warmer weather but if it does have to cool down at least I get to get out the boots and jumpers! Trying to get in gear and off the sofa just now though.. grey top from EMP with New Order tee and old leggings! For once PurplecatDog has not photobombed me but is snoozing beside me!

Thank you all. I am 'blessed' with two MIL and sadly this is the really lovely kind one who has always been a rock for me. The other is just incredibly formal and trickier to navigate ( for me as a council house girl). Sadly she is about to go into a NH for dementia. Life isn't being kind at the moment

Today i wore jogging bottoms and a sweatshirt. No bra.

No photos, I looked a fucking state!

Photo taken before DH asked if I was taking the car or the motorcycle to the shops....so the boots quickly got ditched in favour of some slip on trainers instead In my defence, it is freezing here today and those boots are fleece lined and super cosy...even if they do make me look like a biker when paired with the fake leather joggers.
