Wearing this comfy jumpsuit from asos today with a thick black fluffy cardi not pictured. When out will wear black leather converse high tops.

In general though i need to ask everyone what the heck is storm Barra and why do we all have the same upstairs carpets??
I do love a creamy carpet in the bedroom i must admit.

So many great looks yesterday and today. I hate being cold and, following a good weights workout at the gym yesterday (in a thick hoodie) and a swim, I’m in my pyjamas and a Borg gilet today, spending time trying to learn the menus in my new camera. Going to the hair dresser on Wednesday though - the Covid equivalent of a special occasion. Oooh, what shall I wear 🤔

We obviously all got the beige carpet memo except @Greyhairwarmheart & @OublietteBravo
Although in the last house we only had beige carpets for about a year before that it was manky 30 year old grey possibly light blue threadbare carpet.

Bought these thermal tights at the weekend. I feel much warmer. Dress white stuff, cardigan Hobbs.

M and s lounge wear today 🤣 have the same outfit in 3 colours!

Day at home today as toddler not well and this storm is hitting hard, greenhouse looking decidedly dodgy, we lost a few panels and shelves last week in storm arwen. Wind is whistling down the chimney and through the windows the joys of a 200 year old house!

Will shove a knee length coat on and wellies for school run and hope for the best.

@OublietteBravo I took a liking to your culottes and bought myself some 😆 they’re so super comfy but I find the length a bit weird - not quite short enough to be cropped?

@CaterpillaNavilla - I quite like the length. Although the sizing suggestion did tell me that I should buy the short length (I’m 5’5”).

I set off in a shirt today, but got so cold that I added a jumper. And then a cardigan!

I’ve just found this thread as I was trying to find inspiration. I’m 35, and finding that my wardrobe / style isn’t “me” anymore. Usually I wear mini pinafore dresses and brogues / ankle boots with tights. I’m wondering if I feel too old for short dresses / skirts…

I’m never comfy in jeans unless they’re dungarees - anyway I’m feeling the urge to switch up my style ever so slightly.

I don’t know where to begin so I thought the Style & Beauty boards would be best

I like the culottes @CaterpillaNavilla - I think they are the perfect length for trainers or maybe Dm's/biker boots.
I was wearing this today, then the wind started going a bit crazy after lunch and it was suddenly absolutely freezing! Hope none of you are having too bad a time in the storm.

@Inquisitivearchitect no way are you too old for short dresses! I’m nearly 50 and love short skirts and dresses. I feel a bit frumpy in knee length.

@OublietteBravo ah - I’m 5.4” so maybe should have gone for the shorter length. Wasn’t sure if it was just me being fuddy-duddy not being able to get on board with the cropped trouser trend!

Rocking some compression stockings and furry boots (Fat Face - via eBay) - it’s so chilly they bought be a heater 😆
