I've just got this skirt back from being shortened - it used to be on the knee and I just never wore it. I think I'll get a lot more wear out of it at this length (it was very expensive to get it altered so I hope I do anyway )

Skirt - Oasis
Jumper - Pure (I think the skirt might look better with a longer jumper - will have to try some)

I wore this with Chelsea boots. I'm really tempted to get some chunkier ankle boots. I've seen some DMs I really like - I love my amilitias but they're mid-calf on me and I'd like some shorter ones. I'm a bit scared of breaking in DMs though - I've been spoilt by the amilitias as they're so soft, I'm not sure my heels are up for the harder ones!!

@zigzaggaway 😂🤣 I hated having my picture taken when I was younger. My son said I always developed a weird expression when anyone pointed a camera at me! Now I’m 62 and having my last flush (hopefully a 25-year flush) of enjoying fashion, I have more confidence and actually enjoy having my picture taken 🙂

Yep that me I did wonder about showing my face but often the angle and look of puzzle as I try to get a picture of my whole outfit Ian the mirror would not make me feel great as in often look like this 😣 or this 🥴or this 😵‍💫
I'm on some fashion FB groups but never post in them because of the whole having to concentrate on making both my body and face look normal 🤣

So I was dressed but at got in PJs at 4. After cutting my hair using the pigtail method which seems to have worked well. So you can have a photo of the fire and bottom of the PJs.

I don’t really know why I obscure my face @AnnieSnap. It’s mostly habit these days. At the beginning just posting a picture at all seemed scary, and the anonymity was quite comfort. These days I don’t worry about posting at all. Although like @Sickoffamilydrama I’m quite glad that I’m not always sharing my facial expressions!

I’ve been really unwell yesterday and still bad today. Resurgence of the food intolerance spiked by inadvertently eating lactose ( ate wrong yoghurt). I feel sh*t so I’m not doing anything today. And I have so much Christmas stuff to finish!

I don't post my face simply because you just never really know who's lurking.. there have been threads and photos lifted and ending up in the Daily Mail before. I just prefer to stay anonymous personally but it probably doesn't matter that much if you aren't posting anything really personal on here. I suspect that anyone here who is on the same Fb groups knows who I am anyway.

Hope you’re feeling better soon @Sooverthemill - one of my dc has a dairy allergy and it’s awful if they accidentally eat something with milk in - they’re not right for a few days afterwards.

Fur lined tights! Off to explore that phenomenon for sure! You look great @CaterpillaNavilla. Well I got ready to go out - first pic with leather jacket and heels. Then I looked out the window! Now wearing flat boots and winter coat - second pic. Oh well.
Jacket is an ancient one from Tommy Hilfiger. Winter coat is a newer one from Stand Studio. Heeled cream boots are Reiss. Flats from Schuh. Can’t remember about ancient leather trousers. The jumper is a lovely cream one from Tibi with holes at the elbows so you can wear it different ways. PurplecatDog is my shadow as usual. Stay warm everyone.

I bought those fur lined tights this year @CaterpillaNavilla I've found the seams are really bulky round the toes and rub my toes. Love your festive outfit.

Don't know what shoes to wear. In warmer weather I would wear ballet flats. Chelsea boots mean my leggings crinkle at the ankles, trainers / converse are possibly a bit casual?

@Plantsandpuddlesuits welcome. When I wear leggings with boots I’ve been known to have a chunky sock bunched down if you know what I mean so over the legging and showing above the boot.

Regarding anonymity I think if people were to know me there’s nothing posted that is a secret etc. I have recognised people from this thread on other Facebook groups but just think good on you as they are always posts about positive things and it’s bound to happen when you have shared interests etc.

Sorry to hear about your flare up @Sooverthemill I’m lucky 🙄 enough to be gluten and dairy intolerant and can appreciate how accidents make you feel.

I was a bit naughty today as it was the last opportunity to see family before Christmas but I have a post covid chest infection and I have a chest X-ray on Monday, hoping my antibiotics have worked. I was so sick of being at home though and just wanted to get out.
