Thanks so much for your inputs everyone! I missed a few of the replies before I left so I actually ended up going for the Toast jumpsuit. I'm glad I did as @Softpebbles was right, I would have been boiling in the jumper and skirt, the venue was very warm!

I was going to go with the Cos dress but I'm still not sure about it side on so may send it back after all. It's a shame as I love the way it looks from the front but I think it makes me look big from the side.

So, outfit today:

Boots - Fairfax & Favor

Worn with a Gucci coat that's another cast-off from my lovely DM's wardrobe. I know for a fact that it's definitely older than me, but I love it.

@toastfiend I really love your mustard outfit-good choice.If you are not 100% sure on the Cos dress send it back as you will never feel completely happy with it.
@EssexLioness welcome!No capsule wardrobe here and I tend to keep things.They seem to come around again.I love clothes and tend to buy what I see and live rather than planning Means I have a lack of basics though.

Ah well at least the storm means I can get a decent photo! Hoping nurse can get through our flooded roads to do DDs flu and covid booster jabs today

It’s miserable here today - dark and raining. I have the annual Boards of Appeal conference today. Still via zoom - I miss travelling to Munich for it. I have decided that it’s close enough to Christmas to start wearing what I consider to be festive clothes.

@EllaPaella I ordered a knitted dress yesterday from Boden which will almost certainly be a fail! Trying not to buy anything else before Christmas

Just popping in to say ... SNOW!! We have SNOW!!!

I'm another one that's been struck down with a non-covid-but-still-bloody-awful cold this week. Even had to phone in sick one day!! So I've been in either PJs or joggers all week. Might actually put some proper clothes on today though (still in PJs at the moment).

So many lovely outfits this week - @toastfiend that mustard jumpsuit is brilliant, I really love it on you.

@EllaPaella I prefer the boots you own to be honest.

I haven't bought anything, I am still in joggers and leggings territory at the moment. I may have a look later although I really do not need anything.

Jeans: Tu Sainsbury’s: bit big for me now. Need to go shopping for a really good pair of jeans but unlikely to be until the new year now. Was thinking straight cut as want the to last. What do other people tend to wear at the moment?

Just realised the bag isn’t in the photo! Also forgot to mention the scarf is from Fatface. I am wearing it with everything atm, even though I have a huge amount of scarves. I adore the print and colour but it is also ridiculously soft and cosy so perfect for the chillier weather

Went out for festive afternoon tea at a spa hotel today, it was amazing. I'm starting to feel Christmassy🎄 (and very full of cake!)

I'm not planning to buy any clothes for Black Friday (I did get some Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks which arrived today and are very nice), but might have a look round our local charity shops tomorrow.

@EllaPaella I'm trying not to look at the deals.Went into M&S for some chocolate covered brazil nuts yesterday and came out with a dress.
@EssexLioness I tend to wear straight or wide legged jeans at the moment.I'm mainly wearing 2nd hand Levi 501s ,M&S straight and wide legged or Hush boyfriend jeans.The M&S ones are both lovely.
