Not exactly leggings, but not trousers either, what do I need?

I'm looking for some very thick 'smart' black leggings that I could wear with boots and a nice jumper. I've seen them on people quite a lot, but I need to know the search term to find some. 'Thick leggings' isn't working!

Off to bed now but hopefully some fabulous person will have provided the answer by morning!

I got a fab pair of these in Zara a few years back. They were a bit done and got a replacement pair from marks but they just weren’t as comfy-the elastic digs in a bit on the waist. Still decent though, that doesn’t help you with a search term though sorry!

I got these in the denim option from Lands End recently - they’re pull on, super comfy, and not as tight as leggings or jeggings.

I have Tikiboo black leggings from their diamond collection for this! They specialise in active wear leggings but the diamond ones are all plain and a lovely thick material and very comfortable and flattering.

Oddly aggressive for a post about comfy legwear! And you're wrong, jeggings are always denim material with the elasticity around the waist and tight fit of leggings. The clue is in the name, a portmanteau of jeans and leggings....

Op is talking about thick leggings made of a material that is not denim therefore jeggings wouldn't work.
