This resonates with me so much! I never wore a scrap of makeup or owned a cleanser until 4 years ago. And in those few short years everything tipped and I now own lots of it all.
I used to jump on all the GWPs but as you say, the first few are exciting. Subsequent offers tend to be repeat offenders in teeny tiny sample sizes. I don’t need any hair stuff, I don’t use it. I’ve found most of the things that I like now and I tend to just buy those.
I’ve worked so hard this year so far using up odds and ends of things I opened and disregarded in favour of something new, my drawers and cupboards look much better.

The Liberty GWP is lovely. Agree not many products as in the past but tbh I sometimes found there were a few filler items whereas I will use and enjoy all these. Bag is gorgeous.

Agree with everything @RockaLock and @TheChosenTwo have said. My beauty spending has been really cut back recently. A couple of years ago I would be quite giddy about GWPs and would look for things to buy for the qualifying spend. Now I have to “need” (appreciate there is no real need for beauty things!) things and wait for an offer I actually like. The same stuff does appear time again. I have also noticed that GWP’s do not sell out nearly as quickly anymore, possibly shrinking budgets and saturation point with beauty products?
but with the Liberty one I love a pretty Liberty print bag and it was worth spending my voucher and beauty drop on! Well that’s my justification anyway!

I really, really wasn't going to get the Liberty GWP but I had beauty drop credit, and I did need a few things, plus they've just started stocking Ultra Violette SPF, which I really want to try … you can guess what happened next!

See, I blame lots of peeps on here, for keeping Liberty on my radar...have caved and bought the Dermalogica eye gel that I've been eyeing up for a while. In my defence, I was checking my balance on Beauty drop. Is there another way to do this? I added first time buyer discount, and was left with a bill of just over a fiver, so... T'would be rude not to.

grrr annoyingly the Liberty hair kit has been reduced by 30%! The day after I receive it . it’s an even better buy now!

Argh I’ve just ordered the reduced hair box but forgot to apply my credit 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I tried to add it it the promo code box but it said I needed to add it later and then I forgot. Why doesn’t it apply automatically when signed into my account? It doesn’t seem straightforward to cancel an order so I’ll contact customer services in the hope they can apply my credit retroactively…

I decided to go with the Liberty gwp and I'm happy with it. It arrived today, the bag is very pretty and the candle smells lovely. The only thing I'm not sure about is the the lip balm, which looks very pink in real life. I have olive skin and I think that this shade will only really suit pale skinned people. I'll give it a go though.

I've caved and got the Liberty gwp but only because my serum finished. Claiming that beauty drop credit was a complete faff. Had to email customer service for my customer number as the numbers on my statements weren't the correct ones.

Still worth all the freebies for something I was going to buy anyway.

I've been a bit naughty and got the Fenwick beauty bag. Worth £225 with £165 spend. It looks great value and apart from a crap colour nail polish I'm keen to try everything!

I’m tempted by the Liberty £100 “Best Face Forward” kit as I love a body oil (50ml RRP £50) and the Irene pear anti aging cream(15ml £43) and anti pollution mist (30ml £28) would be appreciated as well.

I was buying new underwear anyway so it was a bit of a no-brainer for me but I couldn't see it had been mentioned on here so wanted to post in case anyone else was interested. I have had it in previous years and it's usually quite good value for money although some of the products are repeats e.g. the Aveda hair treatment.

There is one at John Lewis if you’re a member. £100 spend. It’s nice actually - I got it and I’m impressed, and I also like that you can spend on some of the traditional beauty houses that Cult Beauty and Space NK don’t stock.
