Looks like cultbeauty have changed the terms on this spin to win as they now have a minimum spend applicable. Hope they honour the ones that went through earlier (mine included!)

Mine just shipped using the £25 code on a £38 product, so fingers crossed for you.

nearly61 · 16/05/2025 16:02

@PinkArt ohhh that’s very good news- I’ll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed then! Thank you 😊

I must’ve got in quick then with my £50. ELEMIS Superfood vinegar toner, small black Cherry balm to try it out and a Byoma jelly cleanser. Just had to pay £3,95 postage.

Ponks · 16/05/2025 21:57

My £25 voucher code doesn’t work at all, I just get a message saying it isn’t an active offer ☹️

OvaHere · 16/05/2025 23:14

I got a £50 voucher. I'm on city break with a friend and got the email this morning whilst I was waiting for her to be ready. Spent it immediately on an Hourglass bronzer I'd been planning to buy on the trip anyway. £6 it cost me. Bargain!

It's not dispatched yet because I chose standard delivery so I'd be home when it arrived. I hope they honour it. If I'd known there was some drama surrounding it I'd have gone for next day delivery.

I was surprised at how generous it was but thought maybe I'd just got very lucky and not many people won £50.

RockaLock · 16/05/2025 23:56

Oh no, I won a £25 voucher, but was out all day so haven’t spent it yet. I was planning on buying a primer and just paying a few pounds for it, but I don’t think I’ll bother now if I have to spend £100!

nearly61 · 17/05/2025 09:21

Oh I’m so chuffed- they’ve shipped it even though I have only spent £50 with a £25 voucher so well done CB for honouring this even though I now realize it was supposed to be a £100 spend (which I wouldn’t have done tbh). Very very happy and I hope everyone else that managed to get their order accepted also gets it shipped! A happy way to start the day

TulipBlooms · 17/05/2025 10:58

Cult Beauty have shipped my £50 voucher order, bless ‘em

nearly61 · 17/05/2025 11:49

My friend just had an email saying oops your £25 voucher didn’t work but you can use it now against a £100 spend so it looks like they are at least trying to sort out the issues from yesterday. Trouble is that’s only 25% off and not tempting to me or to my friend. We both thought it was a no minimum spend and I know I’m very lucky to have had my order sent but she’s missed out. Wish they’d at least make it off a £50 spend!!

Addictedtobeauty · 17/05/2025 18:35

Received my Cult Beauty Must Have edit today. The Bio effect EGF serum isn’t boxed which I found disconcerting and I wonder is it genuine? There’s a bit of scrap paper in the box with ingredients on it- just looks very suspicious.

AprilLady · 17/05/2025 21:13

@Addictedtobeauty I’d be absolutely amazed if Cult Beauty did not provide a genuine EGF serum. The 15ml EGF serum included in the Harrods calendar wasn’t boxed as I recall. Pretty sure that was genuine!

kerstina · 18/05/2025 08:12

Well after resisting lots of beauty boxes recently because I don’t need anymore stuff I had a relapse last night after a very tough week. I ordered two boxes the Glossy box travel edit for £34 and the Looksfantastic trending edit £40 after watching diary of a beauty geek unboxing it. It’s a form of therapy right or though maybe therapy actually would be cheaper.

MrsBnow12 · 18/05/2025 08:23

I ordered the Bridal Beauty Summer Luxe Mystery Box last weekend, priced at £75.
I use the Kate Somerville cleanser and Ouai body crème and these were two products they showed included.

I got the Lookfantastic box and thought it was a great edit, had some recycle:me money to offset the cost.

I agree, one of the better ones. Sometimes I wish they would disclose all the contents and not just one or two items.
I think this one is much better than the recent ‘Rock my Wedding’ they released for £50, this one at least has a few recognised well known brands and sizes.

OvaHere · 18/05/2025 08:36

@MrsBnow12 I decided it was too high priced for me to take a chance on. I think with the mystery edits £35 ish is probably my limit unless there's a sneak preview of something I really want. If I didn't already have a couple of KS cleansers I might have been tempted.

Thelifeofawife · 18/05/2025 11:54

I ordered the Look Fantastic trending edit yesterday, I shouldn’t because I still have tons of new products to try for advent calendars and other beauty boxes, but I want to try the Pat McGrath products

Beautydiva · 18/05/2025 14:38

Where do you all sell unwanted stuff? I’ve got a few unused items but not sure where to list them.

MrsBnow12 · 18/05/2025 15:08

I generally sell on Vinted and eBay and then am also a member of a few Facebook groups where rules dependant you can sell swatched make up and opened items x

Thelifeofawife · 19/05/2025 09:40

I usually sell on Vinted or eBay, though a new rule has been introduced around selling 30 or more items (or to a certain value) in the same year, which is ridiculous because I sold much more than that last year just having a wardrobe clear out

I was a bit worried about this but it's just a form to sign if you've gone over 30 items to say that you haven't made a profit on the original cost of the goods - safe to say I very much haven't!

Thelifeofawife · 19/05/2025 09:46

@Doubleraspberry mine says I need to add my national insurance number to my account by 1st July - did you need to do this?

Doubleraspberry · 19/05/2025 09:48

I haven't been asked to... But I'll definitely qualify for over 30 items so I would assume I'll get told to if that's how they're doing it.

AprilLady · 19/05/2025 10:11

The new rule isn’t Vinted, it is HMRC. HMRC are now requiring online market places such as Vinted and Ebay to report to them anyone who sells (I think) more than £1000 or 30 items in a tax year. This doesn’t mean you will need to pay any tax on the sales, unless you have actually been making a profit relative to what you paid. So selling on used clothes is absolutely fine, and if HMRC did ask for details you could easily explain that you have made no profit.

It is less clear to me that selling on lots of items from advent calendars and gift sets is fine - most of the time you are actually making a profit relatively to what you actually paid for that one item in the set/calendar. If your ebay/Vinted sales on these items are material, it may be worth considering tax implications.
