Hi all. Had another box today and while I liked the things I'm not sure they're for me. It's the jeans I want advice on most please. Two pairs, one girlfriend- the lighter and one straight leg which feel great quality but I fear both may be too long.
Blouse is scratchy viscose but looks ok. Wrap top is so soft and comfy but is it dull? Maybe. Thoughts please?
Will have to post pics in two attempts

The wrap top is lovely and very flattering and I reckon you'd get loads of use out of it. Afraid I don't really like the rest, sorry.

Waahingwashingwashing · 06/11/2021 18:26

You have a great figure and the blouse and the then up jeans do nothing for you.

Theunamedcat · 06/11/2021 18:26

I wouldn't say the lighter jeans flatter but it might be the angle the picture was taken at

Are they supposed to be cropped?

The wrap top suits you but it is plain so it depends on the price 😂

Waahingwashingwashing · 06/11/2021 18:26

I love the wrap top though. It looks amazing on you.

VsgKitt · 06/11/2021 18:27

It all looks too big. And boring.

polkadotpjs · 06/11/2021 18:27

More pics - dark jeans pics are the ones in front of a door with a dog in shot. Girlfriend ones are the ones by bed. One pic hems turned up and one down to show the length.

Sorry, I wouldn't have put you in any of that. Not flattering and you can do so much better imo.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 06/11/2021 18:30

Hardly inspiring stuff, wrap top is best item but not thrilled with any of it tbh.

ChipsNCurry · 06/11/2021 18:31

Sorry but it all looks a bit dull and like it doesn't fit properly- too big for you.

My first thought was 'go and have a mooch round the shops and try some new stuff on so you can see what fits and suits you'! Though I recognise the whole point of stitch fix is that you don't have to go to the shop!

HBomberGal · 06/11/2021 18:32

The wrap is nice but nothing that you couldn't find in Penney's/boohoo/ASOS...and Stitch Fix certainly don't have Penney's level pricing. The other stuff isn't great, it's just not doing anything for you. Send it back!

devildeepbluesea · 06/11/2021 18:33

I think it's all a bit drab and boring.

Exactly my experience with Stitch Fix. And the viscose abominations. Yuk.

polkadotpjs · 06/11/2021 18:43

I think you're right. I like the dark jeans but they are too long so I shall ponder. They sent a big chunky knit maroon jumper but it had a weird boat neck and was massive

I think I could get same at much lower price probably but I need to try EVERYTHING on as I never know what suits me. I was reading the "I'm a bit frumpy " thread and it resonates with me. I've found some boots I like. Are these ok?
I like a dress and boots and the jeans might get me trying straight ones at m and s. I think the looks they send are great if 5'8 as my friends who are tall and thin have kept whole boxes. I'm meanwhile constantly feeling meh as a short and plump person. 😡

Boots bad? Killed my own thread 😂

Justilou1 · 06/11/2021 20:06

Nothings’s awful, but it’s not great either. Pretty sure you could get virtually identical items at Primark, tbh.

Teenagerkicksmysoul · 06/11/2021 20:09

My thoughts too. I've not put anything on and loved it. Plus it's not cheap. I just struggle to find time to think of what I need and wanted someone else to think for me 😖😓

polkadotpjs · 07/11/2021 13:20

Anyone have a view on the boots or seen better for about the same money?

OP posts:
KirstenBlest · 07/11/2021 13:24

The black top suits you. The floral blouse doesn't.
The jeans in the 2nd photo are not flattering. The dark jeans are ok.

TerriblyNaice · 07/11/2021 18:48

I personally really like the lighter jeans, and think they suit you.
Any idea of the make?

AreYouRightThereSkippy · 07/11/2021 18:58

I think all of the jeans are OK, but I do think they might be a little bit long for you. The wrap top is nice. Keep that if it isn't too pricey. I probably wouldn't keep anything else tbh.

clatterclatter · 07/11/2021 19:25

I don’t think any pieces are flattering enough or nice enough to keep, I think you could do better. In the nicest possible way OP.

Houseplantmad · 07/11/2021 22:43

The top colour does nothing to brighten you. The jeans look ok basics so depends on price. Together all looks a bit dark and drab.

yellowflowersintherain · 08/11/2021 10:24

I like the wrap top, it looks lovely on you so I would keep it if it goes with other things in your wardrobe. I prefer having a few plainer things which I can wear with bolder items - it would look lovely with a bright or patterned skirt.

I'd return all the other things though.

dontgobaconmyheart · 08/11/2021 10:25

None of it is good enough to keep I don't think. It isn't you though OP, just a lacklustre offering by them, and none of it fits massively well.

The boots are ok but look a bit cheap IMO and a slightly awkward shape and ankle height. Biker boots are everywhere, perhaps nip into some shops in person and see what's on offer, I find shoes much easier to browse in person where you can really see the quality of the Materials and the dimensions.

Anoisagusaris · 08/11/2021 10:30

I think the wrap too is lovely on you. Yes it’s plain, but it’s very flattering. You could dress it up with a necklace or scarf. You’d get loads of wear out of it.

polkadotpjs · 08/11/2021 12:49

Wrap is very comfy. Jeans are Mauvette (SF own brand) - the light ones that is. Dark are different. I think on reflection both too long to pay their prices on. Will have a trip to m and s maybe.
And boots I'll have to try and buy. It's just horrible locally for shopping. Maybe a Trafford centre trip
