What coat are you wearing right now?

The weather has certainly turned and this morning felt icy. I was in my (several years old) Karen Millen trench, and although it's lined, it felt a bit too thin for the early morning. I have a thick winter wool coat, but I'd be boiling in the tube & it would probably too warm for later in the day. All my coats are at least 2-3 years old so I'm surreptitiously eyeing up new ones.

I have lots of coats gathered over the years, and this week have worn:

Long duvet puffer coat from Monki
Leopard print faux fur from ASOS
Faux shearling/Teddy coat from &OS
Del Boy style jacket from the Ines de la Fresange Uniqlo collection last year

I’m in Scotland and it is proper winter here now.

Velvet blazer with woolies underneath. A hip length teal green wool coat with big wavy collar and my knee length plain black wool single breast smart coat. It's cold already.

I’m wearing my best ever charity shop find - a mint condition cashmere/wool mix long black Max Mara coat. I get a warm glow of joy when I put it on as it cost me £25! I’ve coveted a Max Mara coat for years but never could justify the cost.

My wool coat or new Jigsaw down puffer, which is very toasty

I've got an oversized denim shearling jacket for if it's not too cold, a short leopard print shearling style but closer fitting jacket for if it's warmer and the last few days I've been wearing my oversized trench/ robe wool coat as its been freezing!

I bought this one a few weeks ago and have been wearing it with everything ever since, it’s pretty adaptable to weather conditions so I’ve worn it with a shirt in warmer days and a jumper on colder.

I got a new to me wool coat from ebay last winter, would have been about 300 new but I paid 30. Wore it for the first time this year and spent all day sneaking glances at my reflection to admire its loveliness!

I recently bought this one from Boden (with a discount). It feels lovely, soft, thick and snug 🙂

Waves to @Peraltiago. I’m wearing a not-quite-so-amazing charity shop bargain and feeling very warm and frugal. It’s a navy double breasted wool/cashmere blend vintage number, probably from the 80s. Looks on-trend again now and cost me a whole ten quid.

Not quite as impressive as MaxMara I meant to say! wherever do you charity shop?
