Thought I'd put a couple of things in one post, rather than starting different threads.

So:

I want some khaki jeans/trousers of some sort. Has anybody tried the M&S balloon leg jeans? Are they ridiculous?

I want a dress that will take me from sightseeing to a nice restaurant. Dark, ideally printed, non-crap fabric, sleeves. To be worn with a leather jacket. Quite fancy something shorter than all the midi stuff out there. Maybe black or burgundy.

I want a casual black or printed pencil skirt, to wear with a knotted t-shirt and ankle boots. The sort of thing Whistles used to do really well.

Trainers - sick to death of white Stans. What's as comfortable but more suitable for autumn?

I really like the MV jeans and casual skirt. I do think their stuff is very expensive for what it is though.

Quite like the 'Bet Lynch' dress but could do with a lower neck.
Some of the links constitute 'crap fabric' I'm afraid and therefore have to be ruled out even if I like them (eg the Oliver B one).
All saints one is too long, has no sleeves and is a bit too goth (I'd have loved it when 19 and a size 8!).

I quite like it too and I’d assume a standard of quality from Baukjen but agree it’d look better if the neckline was just a bit lower. It must be a thing this season to have slightly higher round/crew necks but it seems neither one thing nor the other to me.

I’m hovering over a Hush order of dresses so if any in particular have caught your eye then let me know and if any are the same as mine I can be a proxy quality/fit checker!

I only ever buy MV when its half price or less. I like the stuff, but find it way too expensive for what it is.

The material is in a different league to other Jersey stuff I have. It is heavy, silky and zero bobbling, despite several washes.
I hanker after their cashmere and merino too but those prices are even more eye watering

But it’s mainly viscose and the lining is 100% polyester surely that constitutes crap fabric!!
