Black sheer tights

Ive only ever worn thick opaque tights in the winter, but recently saw a pic of a woman in black sheer tights with boots and it looked good
I've always stayed away from sheer tights as I thought maybe I'd look like a policewoman!
Does anyone wear them and what brand would you recommend.

I'm still in bare legs at the moment, but I don't think for much longer.

I'm old school. As it gets colder I graduate from sheer stockings (in spite of rumours to the contrary, perfectly comfortable with a good quality suspender belt, made for everyday wear as opposed to the bedroom) moving on to sheer tights and then as the "opaque season" really kicks in, I switch to opaque tights.

With sheer tights, I thought I'd found the holy grail with the M&S Autograph Seamfree. The tops was knitted like a tube, they had a cotton gusset and were so comfy. Guess what? They are discontinued. So left with less choice, I would still suggest that M&S Autograph sheer tights have the right compromise between quality and price.

The Seamfrree appear to still be available in opaques though. I'm going to stock up (more panic buying!) in case they discontinue those as well.

Back in the day used to wear Pretty Polly Barely Black. A softer tone than straight black.

These days I'm a nude fishnets gal.
