Harem pants & boots?

I’ve lived in my harem pants this summer but as it get colder I obviously can’t wear sandals with them.

They are black and made from quite heavy fabric so I plan to get as much wear out of them through autumn and winter but with what footwear?

I have seen a lot of chunky boots which look amazing but I need my footwear to be smarter for work

I was thinking a high heel lace up boot but I can’t find images online if this working and all my local shoe shops have nothing suitable.

Any suggestions?

What hareem pants are wearing?

I wear black harem pants from Hush in the winter. They’re quite thick - I wear them with Fly ankle boots (chunky heels)

If you need smarter footwear for work I would suggest that harem pants aren’t smart enough for work. I love them too and I think they work with sandals, trainers and heels but I can’t picture an outfit that would do for work involving harem pants. I guess it depends on your work though. Sorry not helpful!

If they are a bit like joggers, boots will be ok, but if they are the very low crotch ones. go for DM-style boots

They are these…the ankle is quite tight and the lower half quite baggy

I think dm’s are probably the way to go but I am short so I think it makes me look a bit stumpy

They are just so bloody comfy I am not ready to give up on them just because I can’t wear sandals

Yes, where did you buy them? I had two pairs from years ago that were so similar. I've worn them til they have fallen apart and would love to replace them!

They came from a shop that I found through a fb advert. I love them! Not everything is to my taste but I have four pairs of the trousers and too many net jumpers!

I’ve tried them on with my old DM’s just to see what it looks like and I like the style of it but I think i need to find chunky boots but with a bit of a heel to make me look taller!

Those trousers will not go with boots, sorry

I have similar types and once the weather is too cold for sandals, they will be packed away for next spring

To be honest though, I will be wearing my Birkies for at least another month

Yes! Thank you! Granny boots! That’s exactly what I have been looking for but I didn’t know that’s what they were called I can’t lie I am going to buy a pair just to prove the naysayers wrong about my piratanical outfit!
