Does anyone else think this is wrong?

OP posts:
PearlyRising · 10/09/2021 23:51

Who does this?!

dementedpixie · 10/09/2021 23:52

Don't know who you mean and I'm not sure I care tbh

TimeThief · 11/09/2021 00:01

Clear to see from pics...Whether one cares or not... just hard for kids looking at these photos wondering why their parents are saying “no way!”

OP posts:
dementedpixie · 11/09/2021 00:03

I dont see any pictures so it's not clear at all

dementedpixie · 11/09/2021 00:04

And my dd has no inclination to copy others anyway

ThankYouDebbie · 11/09/2021 00:26

Don't follow celeb shite so have no idea what you're talking about. HTH Smile

midsomermurderess · 11/09/2021 06:06

Nothing to do with you. Wrong? What's wrong with it?

mairiflowers · 11/09/2021 06:08

Who? Do you have a pic you're referring to?

Same answer given as to why Tommy/Jasmine gets a new bike/laptop/phone and they don’t? Some people have different things/spend money differently, you can’t have one, end of discussion.
midsomermurderess · 11/09/2021 07:03

And don't bother with adding photos, just so people can pick over other peoples' children. That is not very nice

LawnFever · 11/09/2021 07:07

What pictures? I don’t really care, my mim used to let me put ‘sun-in’ on my hair when I was little, unless it’s really harsh bleach I don’t see what the issue is really

Dozer · 11/09/2021 07:09

Eh?

Why are you clicking on dross, fuelling parents and media breaching childrens’ privacy?

That's just life though some kids get what other kids don't.
MsSquiz · 11/09/2021 07:37

@TimeThief can you post some pictures of who you are talking about?

ISpyCobraKai · 11/09/2021 07:40

Tbf I do read sleb crap and even I don't know who you are talking about.
Katie Price maybe, but her eldest daughter is old enough.
I've not seen my Dd's full natural colour since she was 12.

Sorry but that's a ridiculous argument. You parent your own child and have to be able to say no to them. You can't expect the whole world to make their decisions on what to give/allow their children in order to make your particular boundary-setting choices easier!

Wole · 11/09/2021 08:09

Please don't do this. Its not fair on the kids to have OP slagging off their hair

MysweetAudrina · 11/09/2021 08:16

My children have bodily autonomy so if they wanted to colour their hair then it's their hair so their choice. Not sure what's wrong with a teen doing something with their hair. I had mine permed and used sun in as a young teen. Hair is a good way to experiment as it's not permanent so if it looks terrible, see perm and sun in above for examples, then it can be easily rectified.

ISpyCobraKai · 11/09/2021 08:25

Oh dear god Sun In.
I'm having terrible flashbacksGrin

Doggiedementia · 11/09/2021 08:26

Who cares?

Doggiedementia · 11/09/2021 08:27

Sun in made the biggest mess of my hair in 1985.

Do you remember the smell?? A bit like vinegary chips? Grin
AngelsWithSilverWings · 11/09/2021 08:35

My DD13 had a full head of highlights done two weeks ago. She's been desperate to have it done for about 2 years and I have refused until now.

She bought some go blonder spray a tray ago and used it without me knowing and it left her with dark roots which made her unhappy.

Anyway she's had a rough year , diagnosed with a horrible chronic illness, bullied at a school and has been suffering from anxiety because of everything she's going through.

So I thought if I can do one simple thing to cheer her up I will (that and get her into a different school)

JoborPlay · 11/09/2021 08:39

My DD looks like she has highlights but she doesn't, it's just natural. She even has a ring that looks like roots where they've grown out!

ISpyCobraKai · 11/09/2021 08:39

Unfortunately @LawnFever yes, I do remember the smell.
Thank god there were no camera phones or social media back then, as my permed Sun Inned hair and shell suit, with LA Gear trainers are not something I wish to come back to haunt me.
