I really fancy doing some shopping but for what I don't know.
What have you been buying recently?

I have had a bit of a spending spree recently as DD is getting married soon.

MOB dress from ebay, hat shoes and bag from Vinted
Earrings to go with wedding outfit
Make up and nail varnish refresh as started using gel polishes.
Lingerie and nightwear refresh as not had any new for about 5 years
Silk ted baker top from Vinted.
White trainers to go with dresses -I'm about 5 years behind the trend on this one.
I'm also looking for a few more 'going out' tops to go with jeans now that we can go out.

I need to stop spending now but still browse eBay and Vinted for bargains.

Today I bought two bras and a nightie.

Rusty orange wide leg high waist trousers originally from Thought but I picked up on vented
Lucy and yak Addisons from ebay.
Top up on some The Ordinary - Vit C, retinol and hyaluronic.
I need some new tshirts and long sleeve tops in basic colours to replace ragged ones. I'll probably try and pick them up in Uniqlo.

A rusty orange French Connection popover poplin shirt that I’d seen back in early summer and a green wool-mix collared sweater. Both from Next sale with a random extra £10 off that they offered me.

Shoe wise I’m thinking ahead to autumn/winter and have ordered a pair of Falke cosyshoes slipper socks and can’t wait to wear some really chunky knee high boots from Mulberry outlet.

I like that Sezane dress @hiptobeasquare. I've spent many wasted hours browsing on Sezane and never committing to anything (a little out of my budget and I like almost all of it so can never whittle it down).

Feels a bit ridiculous writing this in the garden sunbathing but my recent buys are two pairs of leather boots for A/W (one black, one chestnut brown), a lovely super soft long length Jersey kimono dressing gown from Primark, new cleanser (liz earle) and a new hairbrush.

Not S&B related but other than that I've been buying and reading an awful lot of books.

Three dresses from the Nobody's child sale. Lots of books from eBay. A pair of leather knee high boots from Zara(I love Autumn fashion)

I've bought autumn things: a maxmara jumper, some Agolde 90s jeans, a trench coat. All of which may go back! Plus a couple of Sézane jumpers which I wore last week and now am in my shorts...

Green maxi skirt from second hand shop.
Revlon Raven Red nail polish- I love vintage style and after I heard this shade has been around since 1945, I really wanted to get my hands on it (no pun intended). I bought it today and it’s beautiful. Very classy non glitter burgundy.

A fair isle beret from Celtic and co
A pair of wide leg Levi jeans
A pair of black silk mix wide leg cullottes

Everything from Newlife charity shop but have my entire winter virtually sorted. I need a nice new coat and I'd really love some Fiorenti and baker boots.

I've been doing a low buy type thing, but I did cave last week and got a couple of dresses in the John Lewis sale, which will be really useful in autumn. One is a knee length tea dress type thing and the other is a midi dress with half sweatshirt material and half floaty. Sounds bonkers, but I swear it's nice on. Actually a little boring, but useful. I also got an &other stories black cardi.

A pretty boho top from Anthropologie, jumper from Navy Grey and some black knee high boots from Jones. I’m mostly ready for Autumn now!

Several cashmere hoodies and some new joggers ready to be all cosy for home working through the winter.
Then the blooming heatwave happened so not even tried on.

I've found a few thrift shop bargains recently - M&S jeans that fit perfectly for £2, some pretty fitted shirts from Top Shop and Principles, a couple of nice blazers and army style jackets, ready for autumn, teal short sleeved cardi from H&M and an embroidered bag from Stradivarious. Also, books, because I'm always buying books. I love to shop, whether it's high street, online or charity shop 😁

A linen Finisterre boilersuit in the sale. I wore my first one several times a week all winter and spring. I'm trying not to buy the brown one, but I got so much use out of the one I have, it's very tempting.

Two pairs of Max Mara leather trousers (a green pair on super sale and a used brown pair from eBay) which might go back, I can't decide if I'm a leather trouser sort of woman.

Fine knit merino fair isle jumper from Celtic in an excellent muddy green shade.

Gorgeous metallic a-line midi skirt in puffy pink lurex brocade, right up my street in every way except colour, it's very pink.

Some cheap 80s/90s carrot trousers in lovely wintery checks and tweeds (eBay). I hope that'll satisfy me when I want to wear something new. I'm really spending far too much time idly shopping, I have to find an alternative dopamine boost. I shouldn't really be on this thread!

Leather Converse for the coming colder months, really hoping they will be what I need - practical but somewhat stylish and comfy.
