I really fancy doing some shopping but for what I don't know.
What have you been buying recently?

Lychees

There’s lots I want to buy but can’t afford. I am in the process of sorting out all my clothes, selling a few bits and giving some to charity. There’s a few bits from Hush I have my eye on but I don’t usually buy expensive clothing so I’m waiting for a code or a sale 🤣.

Recently bought some rust colour dungarees from Run and fly , some mom jeans from new look and a couple over sized T-shirt’s, haven’t had the chance to wear them yet as it’s been too warm and now I’m stuck at home with covid and wishing I had bought PJ’s instead 🤣.

I did a virtual styling session with John Lewis last month so have been buying a few items suggested.
A Mint Velvet blouse, a Breton top and black leather trainers.

Finding one you like can be tricky. It did take a fair bit of looking to find the Poetry dress. I did purchase a Fat Face one last year that I also wear loads. They are still for sale on ebay. Here is a link. I have seen same dress in blue on there too.

An oversized cashmere jumper from Cos - well, 2 actually as I ordered 2 sizes to try but will probably keep both.

A long sleeved T-shirt (also from Cos), denim jumpsuit from Hush and black jumpsuit from Whistles.

Navy smock dress from Kin.

Beauty-wise, a Shiseido blue mascara which I'm planning to use on lower lashes only. Plus a new bottle of my favourite perfume (Dune) and my favourite lipstick (Estee Lauder Short Fuse).

Love that Mint Velvet slip dress, will be buying that!

Sorry just to add that Olive are annoyingly one size only which means they do only tend to cater for sizes 6-12.

I bought two pairs of jeans, both from M&S - tbf, my jeans situation has been dire with just one pair of straight leg jeans I wear all the time, plus a few very ratty and old pairs of skinnies which never flattered me and which I can now bid adieu.

I haven't bought one yet, but I'd like a nice cozy, thick cardigan for the autumn. My current ones are mainly thin and short ones. I'm eyeing up this one but haven't taken the leap yet. I always worry they are itchy

I am coveting this sweater https://www.sezane.com/en/product/zoe-sweaters/rosewood#size-XXXL but sadly as is usual for Sezane it's out of stock in my size. Stock goes so quickly and they never seem to restock but leave the items there for months.

I’ve just bought the blue/white striped Arket top. Nice but huge. I’m a 14 and got XS because I didn’t want it too oversized.

Bought a second hand and in very good condition Burberry denim jacket for £50 today. Also bought a woolen check scarf for £2, and 2 skirts for £2 each.

I have bought a dress from Kin, some blue-grey nail polish which I will be trying today and the world's softest leopard print coat from Little Lies. I need a cardigan, I think pink maybe but cannot find the one I have invented in my head. I have a dress from Uniqlo, wide leg cords, Birkenstock clogs, high top converse and a pair of brogues all sitting open in my tabs that I am umming and aaahing over.

Does anyone know if the M&S high waisted jeggings are any good? I'm quite tempted to buy a few couple, but I'm not sure what their sizing is like. As in true to size? Size up? Size down? If anyone has bought them

I have quite a big bum and hips, so currently living in leggings at the moment for comfort, but want to dress a little smarter

I bought a khaki cord "shacket" the other day. I know everyone is wearing them but it does actually look great and it's really comfy.

Khaki is my favourite colour, I buy way too much in this colour as it seems to suit me. The shacket sounds good, have you got a link?

I’ve bought these in the last week or so. I didn’t have high hopes for the green trews, but they are actually very flattering, I’m size 14.

The FILA top is much lovelier in the flesh, it’s got gold braiding and gold trims. Bloody love it 😊

@snooks1971 can I please ask what the sizing is like on the Fila jumper, I am also a 14.

@gracielooloo of course 😀 I’ve got the L, I tried the M on but it was a bit too snug, especially coming into winter and wearing layers underneath. It’s not a big loose fit at all if that makes sense? Quite boxy and fitted. To me it’s a fitted top that is very warm and looks good rather than a comfort slouchy hoodie thing. Love it though!
