For autumn/winter what would they be?

I'm 44, size 12/14, pretty clueless, and on a budget! My last pair of darkish skinnies are looking tired. This is for every day/pub drinks type wear.

So I just bought the M&S boyfriend jeans and I love them. They're quite thick so good for cooler days, and they sit well. I'm between sizes and sized up for a more relaxed look.

Do Monki jeans come up big, small, or true to size? I haven't bought any before but on the back of this thread I'm tempted.

I think it depends on the style @thecognoscenti. My 28s both fit fine (size 10 here) but one is definitely slightly looser than the other.
