Sandals that look good but are also comfortable enough for walks of an hour or two?

I get hot and sweaty far too easily and after a recent but very uncomfortable walk in jeans and a top, I've decided the way forward for walks is light dresses and sandals. But can anyone recommend any that look stylish but will also be good for walks of an hour or two? I'm in a new relationship with someone I very much want to hold onto so don't want to look frumpy but he also loves walking and I don't want to hold him back due to having blisters and foot problems (although he would never express any unhappiness as he is so lovely!).

I have had Teva and birkies. Love both, but, the Texas I have are a fair few years old and stood me in good stead for lots of walks unfortunately a plain pair I bought a year ago are so bad they didnt even fit up my heel, and were light as a feather, so much so I'm beginning to doubt they're the real thing, got them on asos, they've gone to the charity shop. My birkies, I have 2 pair, have been worn to death but prefer one style over the other for long walks.

Sorry, but really can't imagine wearing Birkenstocks for any kind of proper walking - they have zero support and put pressure on your toes with the whole gripping thing (whether you realise you're doing it or not).
Merrell do some not too clunky, but supportive for your feet ones.

Birkenstock's also come with ankle straps, no toe gripping required!

Fit flops. They are for a more wider foot though. I regularly walk 5 miles plus in them.
