Have you got black “smart” trainers?

I don’t mean really smart but just not converse or something that looks like I should actually be in the gym.
Looking forblack trainers to wear with a dress or black jeans and a shirt / blazer for work. The black equivalent of white Stan smiths I guess (but current).
Any suggestions?

I have these. The iridescent stripes are gorgeous irl and they're a total bargain in the sale (other retailers have them in different sizes).

@TheVampiresWife - they are nice! I usually find Adidas a bit narrow - what are these like?

@chatw0o0 they're a little bit narrow on me (fine if sockless) but I do have really wide, arthritic feet so they may be fine for you. They're so comfortable though, I've worn them all summer with everything.

That's what I do!

I also have some burgundy Puma Basket trainers which look good with black opaques. In autumn/winter I wear below the knee black coats so the trainers are a pop of (fairly muted) colour. I'm hoping the iridescent stripes on the above Adidas will have the same effect!

I have the black Velcro Alexander McQueens and tend to wear with leggings, shirt and blazer when I'm in the office. Comfy with a bit of height too.

Almost spot on! Only issue is the thick sole - sounds fussy but I have big feet so have a complex about my feet looking huge in trainers so need something a little more delicate. But the top half is exactly what I want!

I have these in black from Converse (purchased in the US). Newer converse are cushioned in the sole due to Converse being bought out by Nike.

I have some Golas and some Keds that both look pretty smart

I like a black sole white on my black trainers.

Mine are chunky acne and don’t look silly or tragic-fashion-sheep cos they are dead black everywhere. Other than that, nice black Stan Smiths.

I'd go for Adidas Gazelle or Munchen, Nike Internationalists, Puma Clyde or Vans Authentic.
Maybe Reebok C85 also?
