Good quality tights

Hi can anyone recommend good quality tights that don't go bobbly after about 3 wears? I usually bulk buy in Penny's (Primark) but think it's about time I started spending a bit more to get some better quality ones! Thanks.

If you've found this page in search of tights that have been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best tights useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

I have to admit, I don’t find tights particularly comfortable but I have a pair or tights and a pair of leggings from Snag and they are really comfortable and the quality seems to be high.

Wolford are the best! They are expensive but they last forever. You can get them in John Lewis I think.

Thanks - Wolfords look good. I think I need to spend a bit more, bobbly primark tights are fine when wfh but not so much for when I'm back in the office Grin

Another recommendation for Snag tights - which I discovered from a recommendation on Mumsnet! I don’t buy any others now - even DD’s school tights come from them.

Definitely Wolford, they're the only tights I've worn for the last 30 years, whenever I try something else they're nowhere near as good. I didn't really rate Snag, the texture wasn't as good.

Thanks will look at snag also!

M&S Autograph Seam Free. No seam at all, as the name implies the top is knitted like a tube and a “proper” cotton gusset.

Snag, no contest!

TheWashingMachine · 14/08/2021 03:39

OK, I know I'm in the minority, I like tights that "dig in" at the waist as they stay up unlike those that lack elasticity at the top and roll bdown, would snag fit the bill?
