Have you ever had a 'cull' and regretted it?

Had a massive cull of my clothes over lockdown last year. Gave about 15 bags to my cousin of jumpers, coats, Christmas jumpers, dresses, bags.. you name it. I loved the space but now I only have 3 jumpers, 1 scarf, hardly any bags and I got rid of a coat which I regret I did ask her for it back straight away but I think she's misplaced it. Massing kicking myself.
Anyone else made the same mistake?

No, never.

Culling frees up space for more tat classic pieces Grin

Fifteen bags sounds more like a massacre though...

Not really tbh. No major regrets over anything I've got rid of.

I used to do the thing where I would store things away on their way to be donated or whatever, so I had a cooling off period. But even then, I'd come across something I'd stored and think "oh that's nice, maybe I'll put that back in my wardrobe", then I'd notice thee colour was wrong or whatever it was I didn't like about it originally.

I've regretted buying things a lot more than I've ever regretted culling

Two things years ago that I still miss but it made me only buy things I really like and only cull items that are worn out

Yes sorry SOCKSYCAT, I scroll past any huge blocks of text on any thread that have no paragraphs and especially those in CAPS. Actually hurts my eyes just to look at them let alone read them! So I've no idea what you have written.

Next time sell it like your cousin obviously did 😂 then you have money to buy new.

To answer your question - yes my favourite stuff I wore in the 1970s.

Only a few things, namely handbags. Chocolate brown large leather tote by Coach …… OK so I sold it but still.
