Bar soap for face?

Anyone use one and would recommend it?

I use soap in the shower plus solid shampoo and conditioner bars and I’d love to swap bottled cleanser for my face for a gentle but effective face soap if such a thing exists.

Dove was the only one that didn’t make my eyes sting and my skin tight. I use refillable pumps with gentle body wash now.

My partner favours the Dettol soap bars which was like rubbing chilli oil in my eyes every morning 😂

I use Dove for my body and use it for my face too in the shower if my cleanser isn't to hand. I've never noticed any skin issues after using it. I use Boots foam cleanser for make up though. I'm interested in others' responses for a daily solid cleanser too!

I use the ethique bliss bar as a cleaner. I really like it! I used superdrug naturally radiant cleanser before and I think that's probably more moisturising than the bar but I can live with that.

I use Faith in Nature soap for my hands, body abs face. It’s very gentle, but effective.

I use this one (thefrenchpharmacy.co/collections/gallinee/products/Gallinée-cleansing-bar-100) for my face and whole body. It's really gentle and lasts ages if you make sure that you let it dry out between showers. If you leave it in the shower or in moisture, it will go really mushy.

I really like the Friendly Soap ones, especially Shea Butter. They leave my face feeling clean but not tight

That’s what I’m using now @boydy99 I love the naturally radiant range.

I’m just after using longer lasting stuff which has less packaging. Bar hair stuff has been a massive game changer. A conditioner bar lasts me months rather than going through a bottle a fortnight.

DH uses the same foam one so we use quite a lot.

Clinique is the only bar soap I've ever used on my face and I havn't used that in years. Plain water works fine, I stick my face under the shower before getting out in the morning too. No spots or greasy/dry bits like I used to have, they all get better the less I messed with my face using soaps and cleansers and less wrinkles than some friends my age, a few more than others.

Carbon therapy charcoal soap. My skin is dry and sensitive. It's the only thing I can use which doesn't irritate it. I buy it from boots and a bar last ages ( even with 2 teenagers pinching it). It has tea tree in as well so good for my currently spotty hormonal skin.

I use Nesti Dante Black soap on my face. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. Lovely scent as well.

Another vote for the Ethique Bliss Bar, got mine from Amazon after a friend bought me a trial pack of their products from Holland & Barrett. I really rate their solid shampoo and conditioner too.

I just use normal, good quality soap on my face (as a double cleanse after taking make-up off with Aldi cleanse and polish dupe in the evening, or just the soap only in the morning). Nesti Dante or Savon de Marseille are good. I don't find it drying or stingy at all.

I also really rate the Ethique Bliss bar. Got one in the H&B Advent calendar and I think it's the best cleansing bar I've tried - very gentle and non drying and lasts ages!

I previously tried a Eco Warrior bar and a Korres facial soap bar which were both good but Ethique is definitely my favourite.

Would recommend a French brand called Typology. I haven't used their face soap but have used lots of their other products and very happy with everything I've tried. L'Occitane en Provence also does an exfoliating face soap bar but it's more for a few times a week than every day I think.

I had one and it's still going , use it with a "cleansing sponge" the ones that need water but can be used on their own, and it's brilliant . I do alternate with another cleanser and a scrub so it's lasting months.
Will be buying again (and the advent )

I just use a flannel and warm water. I've got a lovely soap on a rope from Soapdaze for my body, but never use anything on my face in the morning.

I only use dedicated facial soap for my face.
Lush Fresh Farmacy and MooGoo gentle soap which isn't actually specifically facial but when I messaged them they said it is very gentle and can be used for it.

I stopped using anything but water on my face in the morning and my skin improved immediately.
