I was brushing my teeth and looking at my skincare drawer, and thought "I really need to use everything up before buying anything new". I then read @NotMyCat description of Clean Reserve Skin and immediately thought "I need to buy that". I am SO WEAK. But also that sort of perfume is basically crack to me.

Oops. I would say if you like glossier you then it's a fairly safe buy!

SOTD Eau My Soul 4160 Tuesday. It's another sample. I think I have at least tried all the samples I have now!

I have made a deal with myself. I have a job interview tomorrow, if I get it, I will do the 3 for 2 with 4160 Tuesdays I hope I hear before 31st!

Also, it was mentioned on the GWP thread that a Space NK one should be coming up soon, I have been patiently waiting for this to justify a bottle of MMM BTF!

Haven't tried that one bit clean reserve sueded oud is gorgeous 😍 but I like a diet version of mmm btf so I wouldn't buy another.

It's never too early to mention the C word in my book! 🎄🎁😍 Listening to the radio news today though, you might have the right idea, Artdeco. Lots of supply issues possible this winter apparently, due to a shortage of HGV drivers. Buying early might be the way to go.

I had one on Tuesday and another different one on Wednesday. Felt like both went well but now it's the horrible waiting and second guessing- maybe I messed it up!

But also, just grateful to be getting interviews at all.

SOTD Chanel Pour Monsieur, for a morning (and half the afternoon) at the hospital. Couldn't smell it properly today, though.

This evening, the left lens just flew straight out of my reading glasses, so am squinting to write this. I found a screw the size of grain of salt in my lap, it must have been loose, so a trip to the opticians is in order tomorrow to see if they can fix whatever it is that went wrong. Hopefully they can, glasses are sooo expensive. Also need to think about getting a spare pair. Eeek!

SOTD MMM BTF - it feels like autumn is here, and I be in opaque tights already....

Good luck to all job hunting perfumistas. DP was unemployed most of last year - thanks, pandemic - and it is so stressful. There do seem to be more jobs out there now at least? He was applying for stuff like supermarkets and fast food even, just to get some money coming in (nothing at all wrong with those jobs, but he is used to working in a fairly high level role) and wasn't even getting interviews for those, which was soul-destroying.

It tough out there alright @Judystilldreamsofhorses

I think that's why I struggled so much with turning down that job offer last year...but it the right thing to do. I don't think I'll ever get offered something so perfect again but what with the kids remote learning, mum moving house and my health issues it just wouldn't have worked.

I'm at the hairdressers. I HATE having my hair done.
