I got some 4160 Shazam, 2 EB mugs, some pjs xnd a massage voucher 🥰

I'm trying to come up with a customisation for 4160 Tuesdays :)

I'm thinking of temptation with added Amber, balsamic and woody notes?

@Left when I have too many samples, I try and wear a different one each day to give the a proper shot. Then I sort into two piles, keep or pass on. I find that trims it down a bit and helps me get back in the habit of wearing them.

Then, of course, I buy more! But it’s cheaper than buying lots of full bottles so I tell myself it’s not too bad

Thanks @riotlady - that’s helped motivate me - I’ve organised the hoard today, ready to sort into keep/not sure/get rid - even chucked the secondary hoard of empty perfume bottles and boxes that I’ve been clinging on to for years 🙈

@Left, I'm terrible at using samples up, too. I have loads I should finish, but I just keep ordering more. The ones I love I don't feel able to finish until I get a full bottle; if a fb is too expensive, then I'm just as reluctant to use them up as it feels like that sample is all I have; the ones that are just meh I simply don't ever fancy wearing because there always seems a more fitting fragrance.

Just dropping by (formerly an addict) to ask if anyone else received a sample of Naples (Gallivant) in the post today?

It would probably appeal to anyone who enjoys Sel Marin and similar, with an autumnal leather, vetiver and amber warmth.

Let me know of any of you are interested in the 4160 cvc plus coffee (coconut/almond fans particularly)

Scent for yesterday was a sample of Floral Street Chypre Sublime. Having tested this again, I decided it wasn't for me - the rose was a bit too 'bright' - and passed it to my mum, who loves rose perfumes. This surely counts as using up a sample, doesn't it?

SOTD: EL Knowing. Green rose and a beautiful chypre base.

Am currently absolutely rushed off my feet, and am so tired I can barely think. Looking forward to a rest over the weekend.

Hello. Not been around for ages due to self imposed buying ban and new cat that my immune system has taken a bit of getting used to - I couldn’t smell much for a while. I did break and order a small molecule + patchouli yesterday.

9yo niece would like “perfyoom” for her birthday. Recommendations please - something not too grown up but doesn’t smell like sweets? Was thinking a small bottle of something nice (4160? But don’t want to buy another load of samples).

SOTD recently has been White Queen, tauer incense extreme and 4160 waft from the loft on rotation. But the latter (and other ambers) go sour on me lately - is this my great age?
