Thank you, @Artdecolover. The journey was a bit stressful and circuitous, as the lift wasn't working at the railway station (I have mobility issues), so we missed our connection and had to change travel plans. However, York (it's a short city break) is very picturesque and charming. The hotel we are staying at is right next to a church and the bells chime the hours, which you'd think would be annoying, but weirdly is actually quite magical. Off to sightsee now.

SOTM (morning) was pp Tom Ford Amber Absolute, an incense-y, sort of thick, salty Amber. Really nice. SOTD will be pp MM BTF.

SOTD jlo glow. Wanted something soapy after my bath and I'm tired 🥱

Purchased 4160 Tuesdays mix of MNND and creamy vanilla crumble (in the same bottle) which given I love both of them I'm hopeful for!

SOTD was the first autumn outing for YSL Black Opium.

Went into Fenwick yesterday for a good sniff. MFK Grand Soir really stood out, a vanilla-y, smokey Amber with a slightly cakey feel in the mid notes and lots of oomph. Can see that pp have a dupe, so may get that as the real thing is £££.

I have used both the pp mmm btf body lotion and shower gel and they are both good
The candle is VERY good, comes nicely packaged and freshly made so they have a use from date. The pp candle is better than the maison margeila one - I've had both.
I've ordered pp mmm witl shower gel and candle ☺
The bathroom is done and almost decorated.
The downstairs wc is sadly still not finished...the Extractor fan doesn't work 😡

Any advice on tackling my stash? I’m feeling a little overwhelmed, although it’s a nice problem to have.

Hello, I'm back! Our short break in York was wonderful; what a beautiful and friendly city (❤️). Was very sad to leave. However, I had that thing (at least, I think it's a thing) where I returned from holiday more tired than I was when I left, and, of course, was immediately rushed off my feet with things to do. So, am having a relaxing day today.

Today it's Guerlain Mitsouko.
