Help me find fabulous maxi dress

Hi
I have a work party to go to in August - it’s a drinks & nibbles kind of thing, not posh, but for various reasons I want to look really amazing! Help me find a summer maxi dress. I’m tall (5ft 8in), size 10-12. Not strappy or backless as I have quite broad shoulders. Bright colours good as have dark/olive complexion & dark hair.
Willing to splash out & spend more than I normally would (I tend to buy lots of second hand stuff on eBay). £50 or thereabouts??

Would have suggested Aspiga and Gabrielle Parker, but they are over £50 budget. Gabrielle Parker has this one which is £74.

Silk mix in some beautiful colours and prints.
Monsoon have some lovely maxi dresses which are in the sale and in budget. Lots of bright colours too.

Ooh, some lovely ideas, thanks.
Particularly like the second Silk Fred dress. 100% viscose though. Does that matter??

I recommended this on another thread because I have it and LOVE it. I have it in white but the pink sounds like it would look great on you.

Glad you like it op. It has pockets too! Its so lovely to wear, you can’t help but swish around a bit in it. I like that for such a ‘big’ dress it’s great for day or night, big statement earrings, straw bag and off you go.

I have this one and it's sooooo flattering. I'm planning to buy it in a couple more prints. It's polyester but I wore it during the heatwave and it was fine.
