Anyone watching Lie with me?

The main character has this amazing kimono dressing gown and it got me thinking about how much I would like one.

Anyone got any good recommendations?

Their Nibs do lovely kimono style dressing gowns and are sold through the John Lewis website. I’ve bought several of their products for presents, their lovely quality and a reasonable price.

I had a beautiful Gabrielle parker one, but VERY thin and my small children tore it twice, couldn’t be mended the second time. 😖 Grrr!

Just to add they come beautifully packed.

Please remember to hand wash One Hundred Stars kimonos as I stupidly put on delicate wash 30 degrees in the machine and it tore the material so £60+ down the drain (literally) for something worn 3 times. I should have read the label!

Another warning about 100 stars - make sure you wash them on their own the first time, especially the brighter colours. I learned the hard way and turned a load of delicates blue (and that was on a gentle cold wash!). Fabulous gowns though.

What are the Hundred Stars gowns made of? Their site says to hand wash them.

I bought a nice cotton summer one by Scion via Next.

I had also never heard of Their Nibs and have just bought pyjamas from there.
@Beebumble2 I would say thank you, but I don’t need them so I’m slightly annoyed they look so nice I couldn’t resist!

I have a kimono dressing gown from One Hundred Stars which is lovely. However it is quite thin, delicate feeling material so might not be the greatest if you have kids or pets.

I have a kimono from An Indian Summer. Which is lovely.

The fabric is 50% modal, 50% viscose which is not great actually.

Shibumi have lovely kimonos but rather pricey.

These are beautiful! I found a very similar thing by a random brand in TKMaxx for a fraction of the price recently. I imagine the fabric of some of those linked is nicer, though.
