Seasalt sale

Seasalt are having a mid-season sale. It's not a place I do a lot of shopping in, but they recently started a maternity range, which included some jeans....Waterdance trousers. I'm not pregnant..too old at 64, but maternity jeans can sometimes work for me as I'm apple shaped.

I have one pair of these, and wanted another pair as I wear them so much, but at £62.50 a pop, they're not exactly cheap. However, in the sale, these jeans are reduced to £22.50, so I snapped up two more pairs.

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor, I do, some knitwear fits.

@RampantIvy - I am tall with a disproportionally long body. Most seasalt tops barely cover my navel, which is annoying, as most high street trousers barely reach it. The world is not ready for me to flash my midriff at them.

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor - perfect length for me too. It’s frustrating that it’s common to find long leg trousers/long length skirts, but not tops.

Oh, I'm glad @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor. I think the sizing is fairly generous, but it's good to be able to wrap it round nicely.

I've just bought the hidden creek coat in the sale. It's gorgeous and a lovely lining. Desperate for it to rain now. I am a busty 20 in sea salt and the coat is generously sized for me, I got 20-22.

Oh lovely, is it soft? I bought a jacket last year and it's a bit stiff. What colour did you go for?

It's very soft. They only had it in slate, just 1 and in my size! Very nice.

I've seen Seasalt recommended so many times on here. How is their sizing? Do you find you need your usual size, or bigger/smaller? Appreciate it will vary even within the same label for some brands.

As far as their sizing goes, I am broad of shouler and large of nork, so I find that their 100% cotton dresses and tops no good for me. And they cut narrow anyway. But I do love the maternity waterdance trousers, because the band is very soft, and I just roll it over, so it doesn't scream 'maternity'.

Just had a delivery, Apple tree t shirt- lovely and good length in the sale so £15.

Also Lazy Bones trousers which are so ridiculously comfy I'm thinking about ordering another pair immediately and will love in them all year
