couldn’t live without facial products? Looking for some inspo to try some new products but don’t want to spend the earth.

I have quite sensitive skin prone to breakouts more so when it’s the time of the month around my jaw & some large pores in areas.

I’m currently using facetheory clarifying cleanser which I quite like & I’ve just finished using PIXI glow tonic but I’ve read good things about the REN or Paula’s choice BHA.

Please tell me your recommendations!

Eucerin 5% urea for deep hydration

Effaclar for blemishes

Cleanance face wash (the creamy one)

BobbinThreadbare123 · 27/07/2021 08:07

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - absolute game changer for the zits; I was in despair about my skin before getting hold of some
Vitamin C serum - any decent one. Just really brightens your face up and, for me, an added bonus of healing eczema on my hands (rub excess in).
Knock off Foreo gadget - cost me a tenner or something from Amazon and it's brill!

Glycolic acid 7%
Prescription tretinoin
Nivea

Claudia84 · 27/07/2021 09:15

Oooh good one

SocksAndTheCity · 27/07/2021 09:58

Superdrug Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser
Revolution Night Restore Oil
The Ordinary AHA mask (the dark red one)

There are lots of things I like (the Glow Up watermelon toner was a close runner), but these are the ones I always have some of Smile

Cluckycluck · 27/07/2021 10:20

Medik8 retinal
Korres sleeping facial
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +

Imtoooldforallthis · 27/07/2021 12:00

Elemis cleansing balm
L'Oréal eyelash serum

Mufflette · 27/07/2021 12:39

Effaclar duo tinted moisturiser
Korres Rose sleeping facial
Vichy Mineral 89 serum

Everything else I could probably swap around for other brands, but if I could have a 4th it would be sanoflore aciana botanica cleanser.

Jackgrealishscurtains · 27/07/2021 12:54

Tretinoin
Hada Labo hyaluronic acid
La roche posay SPF

With these products, I think any and any moisturiser will probably do.

Ooh interested to hear what this knock off foreo gadget is please! What would I search for on Amazon? Thanks!
BobbinThreadbare123 · 27/07/2021 14:32

Facial silicone brush
@Hotmess1 it is very close to this one, but a different colour.

Geamhradh · 27/07/2021 14:35

I agree with any decent Vit C (was a devotee of Vichy LiftActiv but currently have Timeless which is the same nice water consistency rather than a gloppy slime) and a bigger container so works out cheaper.

Clarins Double Serum.

Liz Earle C&P (though Superdrug vit E and Clarins in the yellow tube are also repeat purchases)

Cheesecrisis · 27/07/2021 14:39

Duac
Botox
Actual soap.

Fuck me it took til mid bloody 40’s to work it out though.

DenbyChina · 27/07/2021 14:48

Cleanser: Nivea gentle cleansing wash / La Roche Posay Toleraine

Exfoliator: Pestle and Mortar glycolic acid

Moisturiser: Neutrogena hydro boost

Not quite three but these are brilliant!

floofycroissant · 27/07/2021 14:53

Any particular soap @Cheesecrisis?

cheeseisnice · 27/07/2021 15:03

Dermatica Azeliac acid
Cosrx Snail Mucin
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

nevernotstruggling · 27/07/2021 15:11

@Cheesecrisis

Duac Botox Actual soap.

Fuck me it took til mid bloody 40’s to work it out though.

Is duac script only?
Cheesecrisis · 27/07/2021 15:20

Doesn’t seem to matter that much. Currently using Pears, sometimes use baby soap, on with a flannel, washed off again properly. I think my skin wasn’t clean for years with layers of creamy this and cleanser that plus make up.

Cheesecrisis · 27/07/2021 15:30

Not sure if you can get duac otc, mine is prescription but my diagnosis is “spots”. If your skin is bothering you, it might be worth a conversation with your GP rather than a beauty counter to get something that works.

floofycroissant · 27/07/2021 15:33

Interesting! I've just actually just started using Pears and am experiencing patches of dryness.
