Flora has got a mix of Elena Vladimirovna's eyes & the Hanover eyes too.
I think the Hanover eyes are quite beautiful as Bea has them too along with Fred Windsor who is actually getting quite good looking as he gets older.
Though I cannot see any resemblance to Boris Johnson (thankfully) at all.

Talking of advent & all things Christmas, I know HMQ likes to do the £10 thing (well probably gone up now due to inflation etc etc)
But I wonder what the other royal families do at Christmas re gifts.
And there's also the other celebrations like Sinterklaas (Dec 5) in The Netherlands,
Three Kings Day (Jan 6) in Spain & my favourite St Lucia's Day (December 13) in Sweden.
I say my favourite as I was given a book about it when I was little from some Swedish work colleagues of my parents.
I was fascinated.

There is someone called Hereditary Princess Cleopatra of Oettingen-Spielberg and she was at the Luxembourg wedding last weekend- what a name!

Valentino wedding dresses always seem to have a lot going on - Marie-Chantal of Greece's did too. I mostly love this one, but think there's a touch too much decoration in the veil that doesn't always complement other aspects.

You're right, Deftly - I think that was why George V issued those Letters Patent, to limit the number of people holding royal titles. They become increasingly pointless! (especially in countries where there's no longer a monarchy )

India seems to live a charmed life! I think it's much more fun being a minor royal/aristocrat than being one of the major ones.

I used to love the perfume range that India Hicks released a few years back - I think it was called Island Living? It was gorgeous. I should see if it’s still around.
