Outwardly very normal, the had a family member who was a very high profile sports star here so one side of the house was devoted to him and the other to Grace Kelly. But it was definitely fifth-cousin-twice removed kinda thing. Very much sparked my interest in Royal families. Well that and Hello magazine.

The Dutch Royal family were at the Dutch Grand Prix today. Max (Queen not Verstappen) was in a cream dress with and orange pattern, very understated for her but looked lovely. Can't find any photos

There are photos on their Instagram. Looks like bootcuts are well and truly back. I had some cords like Ariana's in about 2004!

CPF and CPM at Flag Day celebrations. I think Mary looks exceptionally elegant here. The coat is Prada and the dress is Max Mara.

Great to see the Dutch RF out and about. I see they're all sporting something orange apart from Wax (unless you count his lanyard!).

I rather like Max's dress, I couldn't carry it off myself. Mary looks eternally elegant. A brief hiccup imo with the baggy trews, back to streamlined sophistication.

I'll join you in the side-eye @Maireas, the Cambridges haven't been seen since Wimbledon/Euro final, apart from a prerecorded chat with some Olympians! I don't think they even went to Balmoral this year, although with Andrew there who can blame them?

I was thinking the same, Deftly, particularly when I saw the Spanish royal family welcome their Olympic team home. That would have been nice.
