We are going on holiday in a couple of weeks. Staycation like nearly everyone else this year. Just wondering if it's a hot day and we go to the beach would you wear a bikini or a one piece or a bikini top and shorts? Don't want to look like the creepy old guy wearing his Speedos on the beach and have lots of British people laughing at me 🤣

I don't usually wear a bikini on UK holidays (though will occasionally in the garden with a cover up), it's rarely been hot enough when we've visited the beach, and I prefer swimming in a one piece costume.

If it's hot enough, OP, I'd definitely wear the bikini. You won't look out of place at all.
@Justa47 - We have a long way to go to get equality with men on the beaches. I always go topless where l can, that is quiet beaches or even on busy beaches, but in the latter case, it has to be where I’m not the only one.
One issue with going topless for women is that if you're big of boob it's just too damn uncomfortable not to wear any kind of support. I'd have no issue baring my boobs from a modesty perspective, but I have to wear a bra 24/7 to avoid being in pain.
