A fascinating thread about knickers and bras

I need some new everyday knickers and bras, and I’m stuck for where to look.

I’ve been underwhelmed with the last few times I’ve bought bras from M&S - I don’t find them comfortable, really.

I tried Stripe and Stare for knickers, and they were really comfy and funky designs, but the lace went grey very quickly.

Where do you go for nice everyday stuff? Neutral bras and pretty pants, rather than sexy lingerie?

All recommendations welcome!

Ella and Me are my favourite (and i have recommended them on here and Facebook many times!). I love the bamboo ones, and the shape is brilliant - the elastic isn't so tight it cuts into my tummy (I don't want extra lines with a C-section scar!)

I also like these ones from Amazon - I prefer these to the ones with grey stitching on. They don't seem to give me three tummies either! I just wish they would do a multipack of navy.

The Wirapa ones from Amazon are so comfortable and seem to look brand new for years 😀

I hear you, regarding the c-section scar. Low waistbands migrate into mine, it’s a nightmare. This is twenty one years on from my last section; I didn’t think I’d still be getting gyp!

I’m a recent convert to Ella and Me. They were recommended on MN late last year. I’m busy chucking out my M&S shoddy underwear and replacing it with stuff from these guys. Their bamboo knickers are great.

I also like the fact that they’re a British brand.

I've now ordered the Amazon Wirapa ones as well Grin I wasn't keen on the grey stitching but the plain ones look nice. I think I'll be on a similar mission to you @ByeByeMissAmericanPie!

I buy quite substantial cotton knickers as I have to use incontinence pads - so no G strings here! Mainly M&S , sometimes Primark. I think I got some from Sainsburys but they were too big. Have bought some online as well from Amazon.

Bras - mainly from M&S (size 38G - so can'[t buy just anywhere!). But in very hot weather I have to buy the 3 pack of comfort bras - no strap just pull over your head from Primark as I bloat all over!
