@Sooverthemill lovely pic, your DD looks beautiful, what a gorgeous dress! We were in the Tarn-et-Garonne region. I'm very lucky that my parents have a holiday home out there so we were able to decide whether to go or not at the last minute. They're selling it so probably our last holiday out there so I'm so pleased that we managed to go. Wouldn't want to negotiate the 3hr queue at Heathrow border control again in a hurry, though!

Horse wise, I'd love another, but sadly it's not the right time. I will do again one day, hopefully in the not too distant future, but not right now. I'd like to think another half sibling to my old boy might come up when the time is right, though, but we shall see. His sire is pretty prolific in racing lines so it's not too unlikely!

Variation on a theme for me today. I bought this jacket on holiday and I'm a bit obsessed with it!

Thank you everyone. DD looked gorgeous and it was very sad not to be there. I’m going to be witness at her 5 minutes legal ceremony in a few weeks but Saturday will be their anniversary date.
Big trip today driving DH for a biopsy at hospital 2 plus hours away. DS has come to look after DD ( he doesn’t drive). Am dreading as I haven’t ever driven DHs car or that far for probably 9 years! Gulp

I love this blouse but trying to not justify it as whilst it was half price it was still £50 but I think it's beautiful colour and silky smoothness has won.

Uninspiring outfit from me again today. I love, love, love Autumn, so I don't know why I'm not embracing the weather a bit more, but none of my clothes are really appealing to me at the moment. I'm not even reaching for my dungarees that much, which is super unusual for me!

Hello everyone- sorry been missing in action. Been on holiday for the last two weeks, the second week in Devon we were blessed with amazing weather and so I was living in my swimming costume and denim shorts the whole two weeks.

Everyone looks fab. Anyone getting any autumn purchases? I am currently coveting Grensons or a pair of fur lined Leonore DM's but can't buy either just yet as DS1 is off to uni at the end of the month and I need to take him on a shopping spree first to get everything he needs for halls.

I love autumn/winter clothes but not feeling it at all just yet- I am finding it hard to let go of summer as only 4 days ago I was basking in summer sunshine on a beach in Devon!

Welcome back @EllaPaella - I’m jealous of your holiday weather. We seem to be having a spell of perpetual cloud and drizzle.

I’ve just ordered a pair of these. Bizarrely I find myself wanting to buy heels. I’ve barely worn heels for the last 18 months, and I already have ones I don’t wear. So I’m really not sure where the urge has come from (so far I’m resisting).

@Shannith - that blue dress is absolute AMAZING! You must find an excuse to wear it.

@Softpebbles he is off to Bath to do engineering- I am so excited for him and also looking forward to lots of weekend visits, Bath is a lovely city.

DH is fine, results in 2 weeks. The drive was sh*t , Cambridge is so busy and worst of all they’ve closed half the cafes off for staff only so Starbucks ( which I confess I like more than other chains) weren’t available to me. In 2017/18 when DD was an inpatient with cancer Starbucks oat latte kept me going! Oh well

Bloody autumn here. Realised high waist wide jeans need some styling practice, definitely need to try more cropped things! I didn’t have much time as dog Walker comes early -DH not allowed any activity this week

The postie arrived with my new hush purchases as I was half dressed this morning (awkward), so obviously I had to try them on. Some things going back but 50% success rate.

Jeans : Hush Agnes. Softer than I expected and certainly won't be thick enough once the weather properly turns, but comfy and good for now.
Jumper : Hush Puff Sleeve - love this.
Vest (under) : Boden - thicker than most others

Definitely autumn here too. I’m not even pretending that I need layers in case it warms up.
